The second sentence of Rapid Shapeshifting reads a little..odd as it should be structured such that you place the markers on or remove the markers from, although it technically does work as the markers would start on the card but it reads like bad english

Also, I think you lost some clarity in Elemental forms as it currently seems like you'd gain each additional ability as you increase the number of markers instead of each one being inhingent on the number of markers you have, like the 1.0 version.

I know very little of this character but Creature seems very weird for a class, as generally Creature symbolizes to me something animalistic or not entirely in control of their powers/mind. Adventurer seems like the cleanest fit from his Wiki, but admittedly that might increase his value.

It's more about his mental state and lack of control over his body. I was going off of this aspect of his story:

Unit Summary: Nice, close, balanced match. Metamrpho feels much the same as in 1.0.
Game Summary

Initiative Justice League. Flash pushes Hawkman up and then Hawkman advances. Batman has Halo and Metamorpho advance. Metamorpho hits Hawkman for a wound from range. Flash pushes Superman forward and then engages Halo. Hawkman engages Metamorpho from height and Metamorpho blocks (with help from Mission Prep). Hawkman removes the X and Superman advances and Flash attacks Halo but can’t hit. Metamorpho loads up on markers and would hit Hawkman for 3 wounds but Superman rescues him and takes 1 instead. Geo-Force advances. Hawkman, Flash, and Metamorpho all take lava field wounds. Geo blasts Hawkman for a wound. Flash pushes Metamorpho off Superman. Superman punches Geo-Force for two wounds and sheds a Justice marker. Flash punches Halo for three wounds. Hawkman takes a swipe from Halo, then attacks Geo from range for a wound, then closes in and finishes off Geo-Force. Batman can’t hit Hawkman and Metamorpho can’t hit Flash.
Initiative Outsiders. Batman uses Mission Prep and would take out Hawkman from height, but Superman comes to the rescue. Halo removes OM1 from Superman with the blue light and then hits Flash for a wound. Halo throws Flash to height disadvantage with Indigo and then would wound him, but Superman comes to the rescue. Metamorpho smacks a poor defending Superman for 3 wounds. Hawkman can’t hit Batman but uses the X and Superman punches out Halo, whom Flash had moved down a level. Metamorpho takes a swipe from Superman, then punches out Hawkman. Flash pushes Batman down a level and Superman hits him for 3 quick wounds.
Initiative Justice League. Superman punches out Batman, despite Mission Prep, then uses his last Justice Marker. Flash can’t hit Metamorpho. Metamorpho goes down to 2 Markers in hopes that Counter Strike might save him, but still punches out Superman. Superman and Batman had the next two Order Markers. Flash punches out a whiffing Metamorpho.

Unit Summary: Tried this one with Metamorpho having a static 7 defense. I like this version so much more. All of his options felt viable and he felt good for his points. Things just didn’t quite break the way of the Outsiders here.

Initiative Fan Four. She-Hulk super leaps up the map. Black Lightning and Katana advance. Invisible Woman, Thing, and Mister Fantastic move up behind She-Hulk. Metamorpho and Black Lightning advance. Geo-Force advances. Metamorpho follows mission prep and attacks Thing from height at max range for one wound.
Initiative Outsiders. Geo, Katana, and Batman advance, but no damage dice. Metamorpho uses his full move to fly over next to Invisible Woman and follows Mission Prep, punching her for 2 wounds. Katana hits Mister Fantastic for two wounds from height disadvantage. Invisible Woman moves away and blasts Katana for two wounds from range. Mister Fantastic Rubber Wraps Metamorpho, but can’t hit him. Katana engages Invisible Woman, but can’t hit her. Black Lightning engages Thing and hits him with a special attack, but can’t inflict a wound. Invisible Woman moves away but can’t hit Katana from range. Mister Fantastic can’t hit Metamorpho. Geo-Force throws down lava that misses She-Hulk but wounds Katana and Invisible Woman, but then fails to hit Invisible Woman with an attack. Katana slashes Invisible Woman for a fourth wound. Thing one-shots Black Lightning and She-Hulk pummels Geo-Force for four quick wounds.
Initiative Outsiders. Geo, Katana, and Batman move. Katana’s damage die on Invisible Woman fails. She and Geo follow Mission Prep but both fail to inflict the final wound on Invisible Woman. She-Hulk punches out Geo-Force. Mister Fantastic can’t hit Metamorpho. Katana finally finishes Invisible Woman. Metamorpho goes up to two markers and attacks Mister Fantastic for two wounds. Had I gone for one more attack, I might’ve finished him. Katana hits Thing with an Iajutsu Strike, then Mister Fantastic fails to hit Katana. Metamorpho loads up his last marker and punches out Mister Fantastic. Batman advances, but can’t hit Thing from range.
Initiative Fan Four. She-Hulk forces Batman to use mission prep and he survives her attack with 2 wounds. Katana follows Mission Prep and slashes Thing for 3 wounds. Metamorpho goes down to 2 markers and punches up, KOing Thing. She-Hulk punches down on Metamorpho for one wound. Batman used OM2 on Mission Prep. She-Hulk punches out Metamorpho from height.
Initiative She-Hulk. She punches out Batman, killing OM1, 2, and X from the Outsiders. Katana’s attack doesn’t hit, but Iajutsu Strike keeps Katana around. She-Hulk heals her one wound.
Initiative Katana. She can’t hit She-Hulk. She-Hulk punches her out.

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): Inflicted [6] wounds on [Thing [2], Invisible Woman [1], Mister Fantastic [3]]
• ZERO MARKERS: Less scary to keep this up closer to combat now, letting him get more use out of his range.
• ONE MARKER: Used for [0] extra attacks but was intending to use this feature versus She-Hulk.
• TWO MARKERS: Inflicted [0] wounds but used the option a lot for the potential
• THREE MARKERS: Still felt like a good option to me.

Leo attacks Looker from height but can’t hit. Donnie advances but can’t get in attack range.
Looker mesmerizes Raph and Leo. Initiative Turtles. Thanks to Metamorpho still being at zero markers, Donnie doesn’t have clear sight on any targets. Leo hits Looker for 4 wounds from height. Donnie can’t hit Metamorpho. Raph hits Metamorpho for one wound. Splinter saves an Order Marker to Raph. Metamorpho puts on one marker, then follows Mission Prep and attacks down on Donnie for one wound, then hits Leo for four wounds. Looker would take out Leo, but Splinter saves him. Leo hits Batman for two wounds from height. Raph can’t hit Metamorpho. Geo-Force finishes Leo with a lava drop. Metamorpho adds two markers and hits Raph for two wounds. Batman advances and hits Splinter for two wounds with his batarangs. Metamorpho drops a marker and hits Raph for a third wound.
Looker mesmerizes Raph, Splinter, and Donnie. Initiative Outsiders. Metamorpho punches out Raphael. Batman can’t hit Donatello. Raph ahd OM1. Batman uses Mission Prep. Geo hits Splinter for two wounds from range, finishing him. Meta uses his double attack and takes out Donatello. Splinter had OM2. Geo throws down lava that hits Mikey, then hits Mikey for a second wound. Looker fails to hit Mikey. Mikey engages Batman and takes him out, Cowabungas, then takes out Looker.
Initiative Outsiders. Geo can’t hit anyone with his lava and takes two Lock and Strike wounds. Mikey hits Metamorpho for a wound. Meta goes to two markers and takes a swipe from Mikey so he can attack from range, but he misses. Mikey hits Geo for a wound from height, cowabungas, then hits him for a fourth wound from height. Metamorpho goes up to full markers to attack but rolls terribly and takes a lock and strike wound. Mikey can’t finish Geo in two tries.
Initiative TMNT. Mikey finishes Geo in two tries. Meta can’t hit Mikey from range, but he’s at 2 markers. Mikey engages Meta and Metamorpho finishes Mikey with a timely counter strike.
