I’ll be honest, I liked MSoE a lot. The idea of having a leader design that worked off of the opponent’s figure was super interesting to me. I’d much rather have that than the ability to switch hosts.

Agreed - I was looking forward to a villainous leader who wasn't an OM hog. Gives the likes of Graviton, Baron Mordo and Gorilla Grodd more pseudo-thematic viable builds.

Hey, if people like that better I got no problem with that. I'd probably make it to where you could chose an opponent's or a friendly.

TINY STEALTH
Mister Mind cannot be targeted by non-adjacent figures and only takes leaving engagement attacks from Tiny figures.
Yeah, that doesn't help the text count. Anyone see ways to make it trimmable?

Here's a shot. First, the original version:

Here's a possible split if there's room - I kind of doubt it?

Would the verbiage of swapping "in another player's start zone" to "in play" work for allowing choices from both armies? As is, we definitely can drop the friendly figure part, as there's no way to have your own figure if we don't swap to choosing any.

I don't know that we need to have your own as an option, as that may jack up his points a whole lot to give any hero Conqueror synergies.

EDIT: This is what it looks like with the split. The text is definitely down to a more appropriate level:

Could you trim Tiny Stealth to save space on that version? It'd add a little more tension to when he pops out on the battlefield, and he'll be on someone's card a lot of the time anyway.

Word count wise, its actually at a much more acceptable level text-wise already. When you add that size-wise he's probably not quite at the level of the microscopic folks we tend to give Tiny Stealth to, I think dropping that could be done if people are in favor of that.

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I do see now that Arthrian Invaders will always get their boost and bonding with Mind, as they don't require clear sight and they go before him, so he can always go for the control on his turn. He will provide that bonding power to anyone he is controlling on either side. The only real synergy provided from him giving his host Conqueror comes from Soundwave, so whether or not he makes the Host Conqueror will basically be up to how much we want to open up Conqueror synergies.

Wouldn’t the Arthrians block Mental Demand with the “No additional turns” clause? I like him making the Host a Conqueror, but it’s one of those things where I think it’s probably first on the chopping block if we need to cut something.

Yeah that definitely blocks it. Way to have the basic reading skills I obviously lack!

If we keep it as foe Host only, I'd want to change the language to move and attack with, as I love the idea there, especially since it will require a roll, and it can open up that sort of space for future MSoE members working well with him. I think its too much of a hoop to jump through to allow it with your own units as well.
