Also, if he’s still coming in hot like I mentioned earlier I think dropping the attack aspect altogether is a good direction. His range represents him throwing bricks, and he’s still very viable without it.

My first thought was 160, then I thought maybe it probably be 180 mark? any other thoughts on that?

It can sometimes be helpful to go to the index and take a look at the points based list. Just browse the point ranges you are considering and see which other characters you know pretty well ended up with points in that range. It's not a perfect measure as many different things go into the points calculation, but it can give you some insight on where their targeted range should be. Deadshot, Green & Red Arrow are 150 point types. Red Robin & Merlyn are 160, Huntress & Azreal are 170, Batwoman & Red Hood hit 180. Who would you say he compares well with?

I'd argue that for both consistency and because the Titans are already so good defensively, the auto-shield should go to an extra die on defense as well.

Interestingly enough, an autoshield doesn't trigger Nightwing's defense, while an extra die would.


But I still think this guy is going to be pretty hot so far, so that's a good nerf. Like I said to keep in line with other Titans, and since he's not shown to be any better of a member than anyone else, he should be in the 140-160 range.

I was just talking about when trying to figure out a point target range for a unit, then adjusting stats and powers to hit that target range. Points calculator can help you figure out if you're in that range or not.

Since the rest of his abilities state other figures, as platformer and chain marker do, what if we scrap shield effecting specifically Titans? He would still receive Titan synergy but in turn could open up possibility of variety in team building.

Now that the attack boost is just limited to him, I think you could get away with opening up the defense boost of +1 to everyone without doing anything too crazy to his points. When it was +2 and effected both attack and defense rolls for Titans, it was a good restriction.
