Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Beyonder
Honestly unsure if its possible to talk about this guy in any competitive sense.
Never play anything remotely close to 2500, so curious how people generally feel about this guy. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Beyonder
He's probably about 500 points overcosted.
Definitely not really a figure that's playable in competitive settings for the most part. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Beyonder
Was someone playing as Beyonder? How'd it work with multiple players putting Order Markers on the same unit?

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Beyonder
It was four players, two teams of two. The good guys had one army led by Captain America and another army led by Reed Richards. The other team had one army led by Doctor Doom and I think Magneto led the other army. All players were allowed to place one (and only one) order marker on the Beyonder. No one had permanent control of the Beyonder.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Beyonder
I did a game with the HoSS Sarlacc like that, where both players could put a single OM on the Sarlacc each round. It's a great way to represent more feral creatures that don't join one side or the other. That sounds like a very cool idea for Beyonder as well.
I've never used Beyonder, but I'd like to eventually. The expensive Event Heroes rarely get playtime for me (since they're basically scenarios as a figure) but they're a lot of fun when they do hit the table. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Beyonder
Beyonder is just wildly too expensive to hit the table in playtests.
Playing Galactus at the Con was awesome, but I wish he got to bond with his chosen herald |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Gorilla City Warriors
I'm pretty far gone from the meta of C3G these days, but these guys were a ton of fun to play back in the day. Definitely punishing against heroes.
