Re: Tickle Does the Public Design Thing...
Character Bio - Following the death of Johnny Storm, the Fantastic Four create the Future Foundation to mentor young intelligent kids. Spider-Man is invited to join the team as part of Johnny's final request. Spidey helps teach the kids (who are often smarter than him already...) while also helping the First Family. NAME = Spider-Man SECRET IDENTITY = Peter Parker SPECIES = Mutate UNIQUENESS = Unique Hero CLASS = Adventurer or Scientist PERSONALITY = Tricky SIZE/HEIGHT = Medium 5 LIFE = 5 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 4 ATTACK = 5 DEFENSE = 8 POINTS = ??? FUTURE FOUNDATION RECRUIT Before rolling for initiative, choose Scientist or Adventurer. If you choose: • Scientist, for this round, Spider-Man has that class and whenever you reveal an Order Marker on this card, instead of taking a turn with Spider-Man you may instead take a turn with two Small Heroes you control. • Adventurer, for this round, Spider-Man has that class and whenever Spider-Man uses his Web Swing Special power, you may choose an unengaged friendly medium figure or up to 2 small figures adjacent to Spider-Man and place any chosen figures adjacent to Spider-Man after moving him. HEROIC DUTY If a friendly figure without this special power that is within 3 spaces of Spider-Man would roll defense dice against a normal, non-adjacent attack, instead you must choose a figure you control with this special power to move adjacent to that friendly figure if it is able to. The chosen figure must roll defense and take any resulting wounds from the attack instead of the friendly figure. When Spider-Man uses Heroic Duty, he will take all leaving engagement attacks. WEB SWING 2 Instead of his normal move, Spider-Man may use his Web Swing. Web Swing has a move of 2. When counting spaces for Spider-Man's Web Swing movement, ignore elevations. Spider-Man may swing over water without stopping, swing over figures without becoming engaged, and swing over obstacles such as ruins. Spider-Man may not Web Swing more than 40 levels up or down in a single Web Swing. If Spider-Man is engaged when he starts to Web Swing, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks. After using Web Swing 2, you may use it two additional times. SUPER STRENGTH Last edited by tcglkn; April 28th, 2020 at 10:06 AM. |

Looking at this again in the morning, I am unsure I made the two bullets equally appealing, but I do like that concept. And this will be a very wordy card, I wonder if I should just give this Spidey 7-8 Defense and drop Spidey-Sense.

Re: Tickle Does the Public Design Thing...
You immediately attracted porn bots, so I guess that's a win?

And now he's banned.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: Tickle Does the Public Design Thing...
I do think it's worth syncing up with johnny's FF Reed which can be found in his sanctum workshop thread. Notably, that one doesn't have a D20 power.
The Web Swing carry does feel very quintessentially FF Spidey though. If we wanted to expand it more, I'd consider letting him carry 2 small figures. That faction would theoretically be half made up of children, and even if you're just playing this Spidey in a regular F4 build, there's still a lot of merit in carrying Franklin and Valeria around. (When we get around to those two.) |

And I considered letting him carry 2 small figures but was a bit worried about space. Really thinking Spider-Sense is going to have to go here. Edit: looking at what Johnny had it’s funny that we both ended up on the dual class thing for Future Foundation and First Family crossover. |

Re: Tickle Does the Public Design Thing...
If you're not feeling the Scientist part, why not just make him a full-time Adventurer? I don't feel like that's unthematic at all, he's pretty outclassed by most of the super geniuses in the Future Foundation wing of the team.

Re: Tickle Does the Public Design Thing...
I'd actually prefer Scientist over Adventurer, but I'm in favor of just picking a lane.
