Will Aquilla get a flag bearer?

Yes. This answer is based on the fact that she exists and commands an army, just like all the others with a flag bearer.

I'd like to know if the Marro will get one. It makes sense that they would, being a signature creation of HS and a major, as in the largest, army. However, Utgar already has a FB. Moreover, the undead army is going to get real large soon as well- they can't give every sizeable faction aa flagbearer, can they?

Better questions would be:

1) If Aquilla gets a FB, what species would it be?

2) If another FB is made, which stats would it augment, given that we already have FBs that augment range, attack, move, defense as counterstrike, bonding and can heal?

3) If "normal defense" is the answer to question 2, is that part of the reason they downgraded Taro from boosting ALL defense rolls to being a mere counterstike booster?

It seems like you've answered your own question. The Marro follow Utgar, and already have a flag bearer. As for the undead...they now have Cyprien.

Cyprien has begun drinking the waters of the wellsprings, and he has received visions of his undead army. He believes eventually a portal will open and his entire army will join him on Valhalla.

There are already plenty of undead types for Cyprien to lead. Shades, zombies, etc. But the above quote taken from his bio leads me to believe there may be more on the way.

The main powers of the FB's:

Jandar - Move (Jandar's Dispatch) and Attack (Attack Aura)
Ullar - Move (Ullar's Amulat) and Defense (Leaf of the Home Tree Aura)
Einar - Defense (Adajcent Tough 1) and Defense (Heroic Defense Aura)
Vydar - Range (Range Enhancement) and Attack (Autoload Special Attack)
Ornak - Attack (Orc Warrior Enhancement) and Turns (Red Flag of Fury Aura

Note: This has been edited for Hatamoto Taro. He is now under Attack + Defense for Counterstrike Enhancement, instead of Pure Defense. That said, the category is not really cut and dried, as it is more Defense than Attack.

The Bonding power is not a true stat, so I will not include it in the permutations. However, it is worth noting that three of the FB's reverse bond, with Human Champion Bonding, Orc Champion Bonding and Mind Link.

Out of the available options I think the best bet ifor Aquilla's Flagbearer is some sort of insectoid humanoid, perhaps a mantis-like creature that could be a Predator (for the reverse bonding). It could enjoy the combination of Attack plus Defense, with Insects getting a one die boost to both if they are within two spaces.

It would be cool to release Ticalla Jungle set first ... before the FB ... or the poor Aquilla 's FB will nearly be alone...

I'm going to make a prediction...

Sometime in the next year or so a new set of flagbearers will be released. Similar to the first set, all active generals will be represented.

Either that or we will get a one flagbearer release for Aquilla

Or we'll get nothing but what we currently have and Aquilla will not ever get a flagbearer.

One of the 3 is bound to happen!
