I think chas is asking what defines Hybrid as a species. In classic scape the only Hybrids are figures infected by the Werewolf Lord. C3V/VC, before Seleena, only had Van Nessing, whose theme (and probably mentioned in his bio) implies he is infected. Based on this, Hybrid as a species could have been narrowed down to figures infected by a Werewolf.

But now Seleena has the the species of Hybrid, seemingly on the basis of being a half-cat/half-human. Much like Brandis Skyhunter is a half-elf/half-human, and so could have also been a Hybrid under the same criteria.
