![]() -Rulings and Clarifications- _________________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received - Dreadgul Berserkers: BondingSynergy Benefits Offered - Roman Archers: Roman Orders_________________________________________________________________ Design Notes - Figure used is a D&D miniatures - This unit was originally designed by heroscaper Bee, and then redone by dok. This version is basically the same as dok's, with a different name, and I dropped the second power. - This version is costed to be drafted with the Roman Archers priced at 35 pts. ![]() Figure used is World of Warcraft miniature Slitherblade Tidehunter modded & repainted -Rulings and Clarifications- _________________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received - Armoc Vipers: Ullar Warlord BondingSynergy Benefits Offered - ARMOC WAR CRY: Viper Units_________________________________________________________________- Armoc Vipers Design Notes - Figure used is WoW miniature Slitherblade Tidehunter repainted and modded. - I wish I wouldn't have cut the trident off this figure, but at the time didn't think it fit the vipers theme (even thought the other vipers have weapons) - Offers a huge boost to the Armocs with his attack aura, but is a little costly with the Romans. Re: The Sparkletorium
![]() Figure used from Mutant Chronicles Siege of the Citadel board game Atilla III repainted -Rulings and Clarifications- _________________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received - Mitch Hunter: Command HelmetSynergy Benefits Offered - N/A_________________________________________________________________ Design Notes - It was easy to come up with varying attacks for the Doomtroopers, using the Siege of The Citadel equipment cards for inspiration. The Nimrod Autocannon allows for multi-targeting, and that fit best on a programmed war machine. Aside from that, he's a defensive powerhouse, his big weakness being that if he gets engaged he'll have to leave engagement with few life points, or be limited to one attack of three that turn. Hero killers, such as my custom Ezghoul, can usually crack his defense pretty easily and prevent him from doing much. Last edited by TheSparkleInYourWater; October 27th, 2014 at 12:47 PM. |

![]() Figures used are Mage Knight Banshee Skeletal Rider -Rulings and Clarifications- _________________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received - N/ASynergy Benefits Offered - N/A_________________________________________________________________ Design Notes - This ended up being a very simple design, inspired by the mention of lightning fast skeleton cavalry in Cyprien Esenwein's bio. While they don't offer much in special powers, the super-speed of 8 on a single spaced figure combined with a low range of 3 make them stand out uniquely from most other squads. Re: The Sparkletorium
![]() Figure used is D&D miniature Degenerate Cultist of Orcus -Rulings and Clarifications- _________________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received - Elkir Bloodheart: Barbaric InspirationSynergy Benefits Offered - BARBARIAN BONDING: Barbarian Units_____________________________________________________________- Elkir Bloodheart Design Notes - I approached this design from the perspective of making the equivalent of Knights of Weston for Utgar. Barbarians felt like a natural contrast to the Knights, which is what I wanted as Utgar is the natural contrast to Jandar. With the barbaric blow power I wanted to represent the sloppiness of their combat skills while at the same time showing their brutality. This power works perfectly for that, as most of the time they roll 1 skull or less, but they are also more likely to get a big 3 skull roll. I had to have them priced higher because of their offensive potential, until I came up with their last power Undisciplined Horde, which adds some control over the damage they can do and also makes them less than fully reliable on the battlefield, another thematic addition to the design. Merciless as a personality was just a weird quirk I added at the time, I might change it to Wild at some point. This is one of the earliest designs I started (though it was a long time until it reached this version). Last edited by TheSparkleInYourWater; October 27th, 2014 at 01:02 PM. |

Re: The Sparkletorium
![]() Figure used is D&D miniature Treant -Rulings and Clarifications- _________________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received - Ullar Hero Helper: TwinkSynergy Benefits Offered _________________________________________________ Design Notes - This is a popular figure to be used by custom makers. Lots of great army cards exist for him. I originally had him bonding with Jotun, but that was forced as a way to 'fix' Jotun. At some point I decided it was a mistake and a waste to bother trying to 'fix' some of the classic designs, and so I changed some of my customs whose purpose had been that. In place of Jotun bonding, I gave him Dual Carry, a twist on the Carry special power, which opens up some interesting choices for traveling companions. ![]() Figure used is Mage Knight Moonborn Sorceress -Rulings and Clarifications- _________________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received - Deneb: Covenant of WitchesSynergy Benefits Offered - COVENANT OF WITCHES: Warwitch Units_________________________________________________________________- Deneb- SWINE SPELL 13: Wild Hog Design Notes - The tank of my custom witches. Swine Spell is unorthodox as it brings units into the game that have not been drafted into anyone's army. The Wild Hog on its own is not a unit that's really worth drafting, but when it comes into the game via Swine Spell, it's a fun addition to the game.
