Re: Dignan's Maps - New Map 3/17/23
I love the look and feel of this map, Dignan. In particular, I love your use of ladders. Obviously, the two-rung ladders are cool, and allow for gaining height in unique ways. But I also love the...

A beautiful map, GameBear, as always.
Just wanted to let you know that the image currently links to Turf War, not Stoker.

Re: Kato kinda sucks, thoughts for balancing?
Harquebus and Yari x3 + Kato is one of my favorite armies to play, but I feel like it always struggles. 8 attacks a turn sounds amazing. But they drop like flies. When you're playing an army with 4-5...

Re: GameBear's Maps - New Maps 09/07/22
Thanks friends! In truth I haven't played Heroscape, let alone designed new maps in years. But I enjoy checking out the website from time to time. Perhaps I'll design some more once the new Heroscape...

Re: Advice on a Map
Has anyone ever considered doubling every figure's move value (and potentially range) to help accommodate a bigger a map? Or potentially even triple the move and double the range? I wonder if that...

Re: Flash_19's Maps: New Map 6/27/20
Haha. I've been spending the last few years trying to focus on my music career, so not much time for Heroscape at the moment. Not to mention, I don't have any friends nearby who play. And the...

Re: Flash_19's Maps: New Map 6/27/20
Really digging both of these! I'm curious how much playtesting you've able to do for either (especially Destiny). I'm always in search of that elusive map with castle towers that is somewhat...

Re: How do you use Marro well?
The strength of the Marro comes from certain units more than others.
Marro Stingers, Marro Warriors, Tor-Kul-Na w/ Marrden Nagrubs, and even Marro Dividers are all pretty competitive. The key is...

Re: VOTE NOW!! - TOP 10 - Spartan Scrolls
A lot of these maps seem either way too cramped (full of chokepoints) or way too open (lots of spots without line of sight blockers). I feel like there are a few real standouts that do a good job of...

Re: Dignan's Maps - New Map 10/20/19
Really like the new map, Dignan. The lack of bridge walls is a smart aesthetic choice, in addition to being a gameplay one. The barren bridge gives a simpler, rustic look compared to a pristine,...

Re: NHSD in Maryland! 10/12!!
Hey all,
Thank you so much for choosing Everglades and Evergreens! If you happen to play on it, I always love to hear how the gameplay is and if you have any feedback.
Have fun!

Looking for a list of maps with split start zones, and more specifically, which ones are your favorite and really take advantage of being split start zones. Not really looking for maps...

Re: Flash_19's Maps: New Map 5/2/19!
This looks like a wonderful map!
I've always felt that there was a dearth of maps that looked like this. We have the very small castle maps that aim to be tournament maps. And we have the gigantic...

Love the star map! It looks like a wonderful three player map, but it looks like it could also make a wonderful two player map. With its design, if you had a player starting in every other start...

Re: Flash_19's Maps: New Map 11/7/18!
I like it a lot. I've always thought there should be more maps that use ladders, even when there aren't castle walls. Ladders are just a really cool mapmaking tool!

That was actually why I built this map - cuz I felt the same way about the underuse of SoTM and TT together. Yeah,...

Thank you so much Typhon! I've always been a huge admirer of your maps, so that means a lot coming from you.
I love bilateral maps because every point along the axis only occurs once, whereas on a...
