We Can Attack our Own Figures Right?

I know deathreavers are the exception but in general we can correct? My understanding is that we can as long as we roll the required # of dice as is stated in the heroscape.com faq

There is no rule against it. With grenades and other area effect weapons, it sometimes might make sense to attack your own guy...

Death Reavers still can attack each other or other friendlies they just don't benefit from being attacked by friendlies any more.

Yeah I've attacked my own figs with Shotgun Blast, Grenades, & DW. You can do it, like Newb and Doc said, but it's usually best to have a really good reason,

Sometimes when I have Jotun I'll attack my own figures randomly simply for the pleasure of being able to roll 8 attack dice.

I've been known to Chomp a random Grut of my own on occassion, just to remind my troops who's in charge.

Also, one 4 player game I found myself sandwiched between a Roman army and a Glad/Blastatron army with the Gruts. The Gladiatrons were coming for me, and got tied up around one of my blade gruts on the way to wipe me out. The Romans were coming it to wipe out whoever was left. I filled my blade grut full of Arrows and let the Gladiatrons run free. They then moved to counter the advancing Romans (since I was so nice to free them up) and ignored me... right until I moved around behind and shot the Blastatrons in the back

I'm usually not that evil, the Gruts just bring out the worst in me.

The MacDirks can't attack thier own champion though.

Actually, my most successful Grenade ever was the one where i targeted 2 of my own AE. I took out a full squad of KMAs and 1 or 2 Omnicron snipers, did a few damage to some random heroes, and only lost 1 AE in the process
