Character Bio -
Captain Mar-Vell of the Kree Imperial Militia, was sent to observe the planet Earth as it was developing technology to travel into space. Mar-Vell eventually wearied of his superiors' malign intent and allied himself with Earth as the Kree Empire branded him a traitor. From then on, Mar-Vell fought to protect Earth from all threats. He was also given the Nega-Bands, which increased his power. Mar-Vell became a cosmic champion, the "Protector of the Universe" appointed by the cosmic entity Eon.

COSMIC AWARENESS
If an opponent chooses Captain Marvel for any special power and rolls the 20-sided die, you may subtract 4 from the roll. When rolling defense against an attack, add one automatic shield to whatever is rolled. All excess shields count as unblockable hits on the attacking figure.

STEALTH FLYING
When Captain Marvel starts to fly, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

As a minor note, the character should be Captain Marvel, with a secret identity of Captain Mar-Vell. And I'm still in favor of a flat rate for the special power dampening. A solid -3 just makes more sense thematically than something range-based, considering how quickly he thinks.

For his powers, I prefer "NEGA-BAND WIELDER" to just "NEGA BANDS." Sounds more... epic.

Also, though you don't really need it as of yet, I did up the synergies because... I enjoy doing boring stuff?

I think the number of spaces is interesting and makes for some neat dynamics on the battlefield but I see what you mean too.

As for NEGA BANDS, that is what all the other cards that start with glyphs say.

Well, not all of them - the Temporal Displacement and Makluan Rings don't. But it's a minor quibble either way, and I concede to your point with precedent.

In any case, it should be Nega-Bands, with a hyphen.

My only concerns are with the nega bands, so that is where I will concentrate my attention for now. Good work though.

Ok, but there should be at least some way to tell the books apart. Maybe title this thread Book of Captain Marvel (Marvel)?
