SPRING 2024 - ANNIVERSARY: An orphaned child soldier, Mikazuki Augus (often called Mika by his friends) is the most capable fighter in the Tekkadan private security company. Having undergone the dangerous Alaya-Vijnana surgery three times, Mika is able to directly interface with his Gundam Barbatos through a neural uplink, making him one of the deadliest warriors on any battlefield.

While he can come off aloof or unmotivated to outsiders, Mika is loyal to his brothers (and sisters) in arms, to a fault. He is blindly devoted to the leader of Tekkadan, Orga Itsuka, and will follow Orga's commands without question. Mika's focus and ferocity when executing these orders has earned him the moniker of "the Devil of Tekkadan."

Starting this up.

The only change is adding the maneuver on the initiative win. Which should only need sanity testing I'd think.

One thing I noticed, I took the 2.0 wording for Iron-Blooded from McGillis but like.. I think that needs to spell out that you have to be driving the vehicle. Like I think saying "his vehicle" is fine later in the power or whatnot, but the first time you have to define more parameters imo. So like I'd word it more like:

"If Mika is driving a vehicle that has the Mecha keyword, that vehicle has +1 Attack against adjacent figures."

I also wonder if we couldn't simplify the last power a bit.

Is there an intention behind having either Mika or his vehicle gain an attack action? I guess it'd be cool if there was some kind of partial cover mecha and Mika could shoot out of it, but the 1.0 intent was always just to give the mech the second attack.

We could always just drop the mech callout completely? (Meaning that once Barbie is destroyed, Mika can still go down shooting.) I know some people suggested that in 1.0.

It's just cause in 1.0 it gave Mika an attack that he could then route to his vehicle. So like it's trying to keep it functionally the same as that. Cause I figured like if you want to shoot with him in a partial cover mecha or something like more power to you.

I'm not opposed to him being able to 'overextend' outside a vehicle. Definitely a bit of a boost, but with his stats I don't think it would be a huge deal.

Yeah, if you're banking on 3 Attack overextends, I'm willing to bet you're pretty on the ropes.

Ok, rough draft of a version he can use outside of a vehicle.

I kept him only getting to route it to Mecha though since like it would be weird if he was more general vehicle than Char or Amuro IMO. Since his skill set is less piloting and more robot mind melding.

Not sure if that's full clear on what happens if like, he shoots someone while on a motorcycle. But I was going with "his vehicle" to mean "a vehicle fitting the conditions previously stated in this power".

I think it would wound Mika and the Motorcycle with the way either is worded.
