Greetings Heroscapers!
At last I've got my typing fingers out of my end to finally start blogging.
I am a 41 year old professional poker player/QC sampler/house husband (proportions varying).
I live on the South Coast of England and haven't found any local 'scapers so my current opponent is my son just turned 8 .
Onto the random thaughts:
Favouate hero: Mogrim Forgehammer (and not just for doing a comedy dwarf voice)
Favourate squad: Roman Legionarres (not the best squad by a long way but I love Roman history)
Least favourate figure: Dund (not an animal lover at the best of times)
Heroscapers.com highlights (as most of it is at least a "like"):
Sylvano the Wasabus's blog (wonderful insightful stuff, and agree 100% re: dwarf/elf divide)
Pirates! ('nuff said)
Heroes of scape (keep meaning to contribute will get around to it promise)
Quick note on the boy's preferences:
Favourate official figure: Sylvarris (or Jotun, he likes throwing lots of dice and throwing opponents)
Least favourate figure: Mogrim Forgehammer (I just seem to get good rolls with him, I've been banned from using him until I do him an elf custom with identical stats to even things out).
Favourate customs: I did him a gang based on the Checker Gang miniatures
http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalo...of_SCI_FI.html
with him, school friends and me (one of the figures is as follically challenged as I am). It gets a bit silly when he's playing them and one of my figures starts abusing the character version of me for being bald.
I will post the characters if I can scan the hand-drawn cards.
Anyway TTFN,
Marc

I'm glad you like Pirates! The Gang of Four is finally getting around to playing it on 11/19. How often have you played it? Have you tried any of the variants. It sounds like you may also have used some customs. I'd be interested in reading some battle reports. Welcome to the madness!
