Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
@chas
One thing I really liked about Big Bang is that the show ended with the implication that their lives and friendships will go on, we just won't be privy to them anymore. Much different than the end that other shows have given us.
Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. Spidey'tilIDie,
I agree. My sister pointed out to me that the shirt Penny wears in that last Big Bang scene where they are all eating and hanging out is the same one she wore in Season 1 Episode 1! Nostalgia. |

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Just wanted to chime in that Cloak and Dagger wrapped everything up admirably and I very much hope it gets more seasons. Amazing cast, solid writing, spectacular use of music - ready for more. Might even subscribe to Hulu or something if they picked it up.

Ooh, I’m glad to hear it. Is that the same network as Swamp Thing?

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Pretty sure Swamp Thing is a DCUniverse thing. Titans and Doom Patrol both have solid first seasons worth checking out on there, though, if you're in the market. I got in on an $0.80 month rate, watched everything I wanted, and got out before renewal. Worth every penny.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Since we were discussing Marvel on TV, I've been watching Jessica Jones season 3 this past weekend. I think I'm up to episode 10 out of 13. I'll finish it out but it seems to be missing something and an overall step down from previous seasons.
Also been watching Agents of Shield on Friday nights (or on DVR later). Clearly they have diverged from the MCU story line now as the events in Infinity War/End Game don't seem to have had an impact on their world, but since they changed their own stories timeline in season 5 they have an in house reason why that is. Liked how they were alternating episodes between the Fitz-Simmons and Earth bound story arcs. |

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Rosamund Pike cast been cast as Moiraine, a member of the powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, in the Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television co-production.
Based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy novels, “The Wheel of Time” is set in a high fantasy world where magic exists, but only certain women are allowed to access it. The story follows Moiraine as she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, a powerful individual who will either save humanity or destroy it. The series draws on numerous elements of European and Asian culture and philosophy, particularly Buddhism and Hinduism. |

My friend is a big Wheel of Time fan, he'll be excited to hear they finally started casting for the show.
