I wouldn't be a fan of quicksand. It would be treated just like lava, it would be avoided at all costs. And, how does that add to game play?
One thing mentioned above I agree with would be to have the rocks come as a set without tiles. Lord knows, I don't need more sand tiles!! It sure would cut down costs.

I don't think quick sand would necessarily be identical to lava any more then swamp water is identical to regular water. There are a ton of ways it could be played.
Guesstimating based on the picture there are roughly 50 hexes worth of sand tiles along with the rocks. I'd love to see this cut roughly in half and fill the other 25 or so in as QS tiles. Compared to the TT set, that's about equal except for there being no figures. I know the idea is to try to avoid added costs, but adding a couple cacti would even things up in my book.
It would be nice to see a LoS only set though. Throw in some trees, ice rocks, sand rocks, and a set of ruins for those not wanting more tiles.
