Suggested further tweak of Energy Absorb's language, since we seem to be tackling that now ...

ENERGY ABSORB
Start the game with 3 blue Energy Markers on this card. When rolling defense dice against a non-adjacent attack, if one shield is rolled, it will block all damage and you may place an Energy Marker on this card. A maximum of 3 Energy Markers can be on this card.

As for Concussive Blast Special Attack, I honestly prefer:

I realize it's not strictly needed, but I think "until there are no Energy Markers on this card" is a nice addition for clarity.

I think it is very clear without it, mainly due to your "in this manner", but whatevs.

Love the way things have turned out as they sit in the SP. Nice to have him start with 3 markers and choose to use them for attacking or healing and has a cap of 3 at a time. Very nice!

I agree with Griff in that it is clear that the only way to continue that attack is to remove another marker from his card, so if he doesn't have a marker to use, he can't attack again with that special attack.

It's one I could see folks asking about, but I do agree it's easily answered. It's one where I feel the official game would include the clarity text but that's probably not our usual aesthetic.

Still, I'll happily throw my support either way to where the LD wants to go here.
