After attacking, if the defending figure received a wound and is engaged with Solomon Grundy, the player controlling that figure must roll the 20-sided die, subtracting 1 from the roll for each Wound Marker on that figure's card. If they roll:
• 8 or lower, the defending figure receives 1 wound, and that player must roll the 20-sided die again; or
• 9-13, place the defending figure on an empty space within 3-6 spaces of Solomon Grundy, ignoring all leaving engagement attacks. After the figure is placed, roll an unblockable attack die against a figure or Destructible Object adjacent to it.

UNSTOPPABLE RESILIENCE
If Solomon Grundy would receive one or more wounds, ignore one of those wounds.

Unstoppable Resilience: Tried and true, exceptionally strong power.

Healing 1: Grundy healed 3 wounds this game.

Reverse-Flash charged out and went straight after Spider-Man to reduce the Avenger's turn efficiency. Iron Man and Spidey almost took down Flash before Spidey fell but it was one turn too late. Cap finished off Flash at the start of the next round. Luthor and Grundy worked their way up together, Grundy engaged Iron Man and landed 2 wounds on him, triggering Grundy Crush! which rolled a 6 and a 8. Iron Man down, Cap tried to take the fight to Grundy but just ate a big 6 skull attack from Grundy and whiffed on defense killing him. Spider-Ham was able to Surprise Mallet Grundy for the last 2 wounds to kill him (3 skulls and a whiff on Grundy's 2 remaining defense dice). Lex was able get past the Nonsense and take down Spider-Ham. Howard finally joined the fight and got 2 wounds on Lex but it wasn't enough.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Scarecrow unwounded, Lex with 3 wounds.

Healing 1: Only healed once this game.

Grundy and Supes charged to battle each other first, Supes got the high ground thanks to his speed, but Grundy still got a significant amount of damage on him before falling, allowing Bizarro to finish off the Kryptonian quickly. The Wonder Twins and Batman joined the fight next, Zan fell after using his Ice Missile on Lex and only dealing 1 wound, leaving Jayna powerless and in Bizarro's range so he took her down quickly. Batman was a hassle for Bizarro and barely took down the Antagonist, but Grodd was not a fan and pounded Batman quickly. Wonder Woman used almost every JLA marker she had to take down Grodd and Lex and barely edged out the victory.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Wonder Woman with 1 JLA Marker and 4 wounds.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Really solid beater, he's slow but merciless. Had a ton of fun with this design.

Grundy Crush: Rolled for twice, rolling an adjusted 18 for no damage and an adjusted 10 doing a wound to Superman

Round 1 – Mostly movement until the end of round where Superman hit Cap for 2 wounds.

Round 2 – Wonder Woman uses a Marker. Bucky hits Batman for 2 wounds with his Special Attack. Wonder Woman one shots Bucky. Grundy goes after Wonder Woman doing 2 wounds, Ms Marvel follows it up with a third wound on Batman. Ms Marvel attacks Batman but Superman jumps in the way taking 2 wounds. Batman hit Cap for a wound.

Round 3 – Wonder Woman uses a marker. Wonder Woman hit Grundy for 2 wounds but he ignores 1. Cap takes Batman out. Grundy hits Wonder Woman doing 3 wounds, he then tosses her at Superman, doing a wound to him. Ms Marvel hit Superman for another wound. Superman hits Cap for a 4th wound. Grundy takes out Wonder Woman.

Round 4 – Cap hit Superman for a wound. Superman ends Caps day. Ms Marvel hit Superman for 2 wounds to end the game.

One Sided game. Grundy and Spike ran through the Clint Barton led Avengers. Spike's sucker punch did 6 wounds, Grundy did the rest.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Version 2 of Solomon Grundy is pretty darn strong. Game 1 was a pretty fair match up on paper, and was a close game. Game 2 he was a beast and it was a total mismatch. Maybe he needs to be a little higher in points.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Just a beast. His lack of synergy hurts a little. I did think that Spike is a really good counterpart for him. Great power set, Crush power was a little confusing to me until the LD explained it some more. Real strong figure that might need to be toned down.

He's gone 6-3.
