Re: The Book of Terminator - Vote On Deck
Weren't you also going to add the model # to the secret identity?

Re: The Book of Terminator - Vote On Deck
Custom Terminator Mini Guide 1. Start with a Nomad Heroclix figure and a Tharok Heroclix figure. 2. Shave off the big yellow buttons on Nomad's vest and the N shaped belt buckle. 3. Next remove Nomads head. I ended up just twisting it off trying to pop it out. Be sure to save the head, you never know when you might need a head with a ponytail and/or wearing sunglasses for a different mod (Cobra Dreadnought Buzzer?) (yes I know the buttons & belt buckle have returned, working on two minis at once here) 4. So next I removed more of the neck. 5. Now you need Tharok's head. I removed it by making a deep cut far down under the neck section. 7. You can opt to just glue the head in, but I went ahead and pinned mine in place. It's really easy to do. Use a thumb tack to push a hole into the bottom of the head and another hole down into the neck section. Then I unfolded a paperclip and put the head on one end. Next just snip the wire leaving a small section extending from the head, which will go into the neck hole. 8. Now you are ready to repaint the mini. I painted the pants blue to turn them into blue jeans. I painted the belt, boots, and holster all a dark brown. I painted the vest black, covering up the 'buttons' from before. I painted his chest grey to give him a T-shirt. I first dry brushed some red gashes/spots on different sections of skin. I painted the belt buckle section silver. I then added just a little silver paint to the middle of those red rashes once they had dried. I added a flesh tone wash to the arms and skin half of the head to better tie those two different skin tones together, while toning down the brightness of the red & silver wounds. I added a earth tone wash to the jeans, boost, holster, & belt to make them look a little dirty, as though he'd been through something. After taking these pics, I went back later and decided to add a couple of the blood/exposed metal wounds on the head as well. |

Re: The Book of Terminator - Vote On Deck
No. After reading up on the different designations I learned that model 101 is a reference to the one that specifically looks like Arnold Scharzenegger, which they made many of. Then they also made other T-800's with a different faces and those have other model numbers. I don't have any idea what this bald headed one's model number would be. |

Re: The Book of Terminator - Vote On Deck
Wish there was a more Arnie-looking piece of comic art to use, but alas, I could not find one. Big red eye is the more important part anyways. Yea

YEA Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Terminator (Hunter)
Just updating some synergies here as I work on synergies for the Terminator (Protector) and was about to try and add something for Hellboy II when I saw he had the hunter class. Not sure which one will end up being released first though, so I figured I should maybe wait. Just wanted to post something here to remind me at some point it needs to be added.

Re: The Book of Terminator (Hunter)
Eh, I don't think that's too much of a spoiler. More of an Easter Egg for those who go looking. Currently Terminator is slated for May and Hellboy is slated for July.

Finally got this guy to the table with my Emma Frost playtest. He can tank a ton of hits! Very cool design.

Re: The Book of Terminator (Hunter)
Thanks! Lots of help getting him to the finish line. Was just thinking I needed to try and knock out some tests on his counterpart today. Need to make sure the upgrade in firepower isn't too much to deal with when combined with the base staying power of a Terminator.
