Official Marvel Comics Discussion Thread
This thread is for discussing all things Marvel.
So, who else got X-Men Messiah Complex this week? I really like the classic direction that the X-Men are taking now. Marvel Figure Suggestions for Wizards of the Coast http://www.heroscapers.com/community...ad.php?t=15733 |

I have the entire X-men(not Uncanny) collection with all x-overs from the one that started in the 90's(?). Once that wave or whatever destroyed the universe I stopped buying them.

Does anyone still read comics?

I would love to read more comics, but I don't know of any comic shops nearby, and my budget is already torn between Heroscape, Video Games, and Anime DVDs, which I haven't actually bought yet... but I will eventually! The only comics I really read are in Shonen Jump, 'cuz $30 a year is a fantastic deal for 450-page-a-month books.
I do keep up with current events though. World War Hulk seems interesting, though I do wonder why Hulk is so smart. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Heh, stealth edit...
Why don't I watch anime on the computer? The same reason I buy Heroscape figures instead of printing out the cards and fighting with proxies. It just feels better to watch it on my nice big TV in high quality with extras and complete legality. Plus, my computer is somewhat... suckish when it comes to videos. Anyways, back on topic. So how 'bout them X-Men? JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Who's your favorite X-Man? I've always like Cyclops (Pre-fourteenth death of Jean Grey). He has an interesting power and good character development. I have that Cyclops mini-series that Brian K. Vaughn did and I love it.

I'm a tad partial to Nightcrawler, as he's an embodyment of that free, youthful spirit. But Iceman is probably my favorite - because the control of ice is an AWESOME power. And that sleek, cold design... cool (pun very much intended) stuff.

I didn't like that run on X-Men (by Chuck Austen, maybe?) in which Iceman was stuck in his ice form and dated Anne Ghazakanian or however you spell it.
