I'll just say that with Firefly, having to disengage to fly about negatively impacts his raining fire usage. As does trying to avoid landing adjacent to someone. I often try to pair him up with Weather Wizard as a result, for the disengage. So giving Firelord disengage as part of his power would certainly boost his effectiveness in my eyes. Might be over 400 with that change and nothing else, looking at what he did in the first game. Locking him down in game two seemed to significantly hurt his damage output.

This doesn't mean I'm opposed to the 2 unblockable idea, cosmic powered heat/fire/lava should be a step above normal or even demonic fire.

I like that. Lacking disengage means it'll still be a risk sometimes, but he's hardier than Human Torch and Torch manages to work it fine.

Cosmic Heat: 3/6, wounds to Spidey, Thing and Cage

Lava Resistant: summary

Round 1 is mostly movement heading toward the center of the map. Firelord shoots Thing from range for 4 wounds. Firelord flies over Cage, Spidey and Thing doing a wound each. He then attacks Thing doing 1 wound and kills him. Jessica Jones pops Firelord for 2 wounds. Firelord take a LEA and uses Cosmic Heat doing 2 wounds on Spidey and 1 each on Cage and Jones. Cage starts out round 3 by killing Ms Marvel. She is replaced by a Skrull. Cap seeks revenge and puts Luke Cage down. Jessica Jones hits Firelord for 2 wounds, leaving him with 1 life left. Dead order marker on Ms Marvel lets Jones attack again Jones puts 1 wound on Firelord to end his day. Cap takes down Jessica Jones which leaves a 2 life Cap and a Skrull vs a 2 life Spider-Man in the game. Cap hunts Spider-Man down and takes him out.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Captain America 3 wounds/2 life left, 1 Skrull

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Rolling for the 2 unblockables definitely makes him a more formidable unit. I think this is the right direction him and he's ready for playtesting.
