I'd go up to 5 attack and make him a Champion so we have a Barry that works in JL builds. Fun draft!

Yeah, I was leaning towards Champion because of that as well!

I thought about 5 attack, but if this is mostly a Team Flash (TV Flash) take, then I don't consider that version of Flash to be a very effective or brutal fighter, so going a bit lower made sense to me.

TV Barry fights all the same villains as comics Barry. I get what you're saying though, he's definitely one that relies on the power of friendship more than his own skills. But I think you run the risk of rarely attacking with him if he's only got an attack of 4.

It'd keep his cost down, though, and that's still a speedy guy with an attack of 5 when played with Wonder Woman.

Not a hill I'll die on, though. I was pretty split between 4 and 5, with 4 feeling more thematic. If you feel strongly, I can go to 5.

I agree that Flash should get a Champion card now that the JL Champion web has grown by leaps and bounds. I'm not sure it's a good idea for this one to be that card though. It's not really doing anything the JL wants or needs as far as I can see. The carry a companion around the map power may work well for Team Flash, but most of the JL are pretty mobile all on their own. I agree with your first assessment that TV Flash isn't really feel like a base 5 attack kind of guy, he's usually defeating his villains via special powers, tricks, and science solutions rather then boxing someone.

I would still want a JL leader type of Flash but I don’t think this one being a fairly low cost Champion option would hurt any. Kind of like Martian Manhunter II and III.

Flashpoint Flash and Kingdom Come Flash would probably be the biggest candidates for that.

I could see revamping my Flashpoint Flash write up to up the power level. Reading it over it seemed like it was cool but not that useful.

I think if I tried to juice up Flashpoint Flash to Event Hero levels, it'd be something like this:

SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5

MOVE = 16
RANGE = 1
ATTACK = 6
DEFENSE = 6

POINTS = ??

ENTERING THE SPEED FORCE
Flash may move through all figures, never takes leaving engagement attacks, and does not have to stop his movement when entering water spaces. If Flash did not attack this turn, you may choose any number of figures Flash moved through this turn and roll an unblockable attack die against each chosen figure.

FLASHPOINT
Once per game, instead of taking a turn with Flash, if he is not engaged, you may choose to Flash to the Past. When using Flash to the Past, all players must immediately remove all Order Markers from all Army Cards they control, remove all figures they control from the battlefield, and place all these figures on empty spaces in their Start Zone. Choose one previously destroyed Unique Hero you control, remove all Wound Markers from its card, and place that figure in your Start Zone as well.

TEMPORAL SPEED DODGE 4
Whenever a special power refers to the Temporal Defense special power, it refers to this special power as well. When Flash or an adjacent figure defends against an attack and you roll at least one shield, you may remove an Order Marker from this card. If you do, the defending figure takes no damage and Flash may immediately move up to 4 spaces.
