I've been pleasantly surprised by how many players we've been able to draw to Colorado events, but I've been going for duplicate maps instead of more variety. It would be interesting to see a thread for tournament organizers to discuss the tradeoffs of multiple copies of the same X number of maps vs every map being unique. Obviously for an event like ScapeCon where you need to build a bunch of maps in a short span of time a smaller pool is better (and less complex) than a more varied pool, but for events where the maps are brought by different people the tradeoffs become more complex.
