Thing puts 4 wounds on Frieza while Reed and Johnny wound a Soldier. Great Ape kills Sue. Johnny kills Soldier #3, and Thing puts 2 wounds on Great Ape. Torch kills the last Soldier.

Frieza puts 3 wounds on Reed with a Death Ball. Thing, boosted to 2 attacks of 10, easily kills the Great Ape. Fan4 bring Frieza to 6 wounds, then Frieza kills Reed. Frieza kills Johnny. Thing takes out Frieza.

Going to remove the “if there are no unrevealed OMs on that card” requirement of the bonding. Frieza Force Soldiers are weak individually and having that limit made it really hard to have good turn efficiency.

Frieza and the Soldiers then kill Krillin, though the Challengers get Frieza to 4 wounds. Goku takes out 2 Soldiers. Goku takes out a third Soldier. Frieza kills Bulma before she can summon Shenron. Frieza kills Vegeta. Goku kills the fourth Soldier. Frieza wounds Goku, but then Goku then kills Frieza.

Great Ape puts 4 wounds on Cold while the Soldier wounds Kadabra. Kadabra kills the Soldier then Weather Wizard brings the Ape to 8 wounds. Great Ape kills Cold. Kadabra wound the second Soldier. Recoome and the Soldier kill Kadabra.

Weather Wizard kills Great Ape. The Soldier wounds Tar Pit. Weather Wizard kills the last Soldier. Recoome kills Weather Wizard. Tar Pit gets Recoome to 3 wounds before falling.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Overall felt good. I don’t think the Frieza Force Soldiers are particularly strong, but they fulfill their purpose well at rounding out the DBZ Villain faction and making them a usable army. They definitely felt a lot stronger at lower point costs - more expensive heroes can easily one-shot them. And that’s perfectly thematic, so that works out. I don’t think they need any changes going into public testing.

R1 – Mostly movement, all figures on both teams get out of the start zone. Pink gets a shot on Charlie-27 doing 2 wounds(Frieza Force Bonus from Great Ape).
R2 – Blue attacks Charlie-27(attack bonus) doing 2 wounds. Red attacks Charlie but misses. Vance and Charlie kill Blue. Great Ape attacks and kills Charlie-27. Pink attacks Yondu, its blocked. Yondu attack Great Ape doing a wound and Vance follows it up doing 4 more. Frieza attacks and kills Martinex and order marker 3.

FRIEZA FORCE: Frieza was the order marker hub and had all the order markers.

RECKLESS OVERCONFIDENCE: Used for every attack. Rodan never attacked the Soldiers so the defensive reduction never hurt them.

R1 – Movement. Rodan flies over Pink and does a wound. Frieza hits Rodan for 2 wounds. Rodan flies over all his opponents while revealing the x-marker and does many wounds and kills Pink.
R2 – White hits Rodan for 3 wounds. Rodan hits Frieza for 2 wounds. Blue puts 2 more wounds on Rodan. Frieza puts 3 wounds on Rodan, leaving it with 1 left. Rodan uses Hypersonic Flying and reveals it's X-marker and kills both Red and Blue. White attacks Rodan who blocks it. Frieza attacks with his SA killing Rodan.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: My DBZ use had been very limited, so I didn't know what to expect with the armies that I was going to play. The Frieza Force Soldier are quite a lot of fun. They are a great support to Frieza or other Invader Unique Heroes. The attack bonus was pretty easy to pull off, and while you do sacrifice 1 on defense, it seem to be a fair trade off. The one potential issue is the unlimited range for their bonding. They have a 5 space limit on Reckless Overconfidence, maybe they should for Frieza Force as well? Either way 80 points is solid for these guys. They went 2-0 but both were close, and the Soldiers did roll a little higher than average on attack. I'm sure I'll use them again.

AlexH12 and I played a couple games on TTS. He played the Frieza armies, I was his opponent. He notably had some terrible dice the first game - Frieza went from 0 wounds to dead in a single turn. The second game started out in Alex's favor: Winter Soldier and Cap fell pretty quickly. But then Ms Marvel won initiative and killed Frieza, which wiped out all of Alex's OMs for that round.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Feels about right, I just had really bad luck in both games. I think they’ll definitely perform better once members of the Frieza Force start coming into play.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I really like seeing more Dragon Ball stuff, I think it’s really neat seeing all of these different IPs within C3G. The soldiers have a lot of potential, but I don’t think they can reach that optimal playability until the Frieza Force comes along. Some better dice rolls might help too
