Re: The Book of Dack Fayden - Design
NAME = DACK FAYDEN
SPECIES = HUMAN UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = THIEF PERSONALITY = TRICKY SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 4 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 3 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 150 PSYCHOMETRY Start the game with an Artifact Equipment Glyph on this card. Anytime an Equipment Glyph is placed on this card, place a purple Psychometry Marker on its card. Dack Fayden may use the special powers of any Glyph with a Psychometry Marker on its card as though he was equipped with that Glyph. GREATEST THIEF IN THE MULTIVERSE After moving normally or with his Planeswalker special power, you may choose an adjacent figure and place an Equipment Glyph from that figure's card on this card. Dack Fayden can equip up to two Equipment Glyphs and only loses one glyph anytime he receives one or more wounds. Dack may never drop or pass Equipment Glyphs he has equipped. PLANESWALKER Once per round, instead of moving normally with Dack Fayden, you may place him on any empty space that is either within 6 spaces of his current space, in your Start Zone, or on another battlefield that is part of this game. When Dack planeswalks, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks. Last edited by tcglkn; March 3rd, 2022 at 06:05 PM. |

Re: The Book of Dack Fayden - Design
How does he work with Glyphs that ask you to destroy themselves, like the smoke pellet or
Spidey’s food glyphs? |

Re: The Book of Dack Fayden - Design
Is there meant to be an upper limit to markers he can have on his card? Right now you'd actually place 5 at the start of the game, place the glyph, then place a 6th, per the mechanics.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Dack Fayden - Design
I initially had it at 6, then added him starting with an Artifact Glyph so I reduced the number of markers to accommodate that. Not too set on the upper limit though, unlikely that he will use more than a few per game.

Re: The Book of Dack Fayden - Design
So it's intentionally that you place 5 markers, place the glyph, then place a 6th marker? Seems a bit mechanically wonky and unintuitive.

Re: The Book of Dack Fayden - Design
GREATEST THIEF IN THE MULTIVERSE
Start the game with 6 purple Psychometry Markers and one Artifact Equipment Glyph on this card. Anytime another Equipment Glyph is placed on this card, immediately place a Psychometry Marker on its card. After moving and before attacking, if Dack Fayden does not have an equipment glyph on this card, you may choose any adjacent figure that has an equipment glyph on its card and place that equipment glyph on this card. Dack may use the special powers of any Glyph with a Psychometry Marker on it's card as though he was equipped with that Glyph. Would that do it? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Dack Fayden - Design
Not quite because then the Glyph he starts with doesn't start with a marker. And it could be argued that it would never get one of his markers.
