Re: WotC has a survey about Miniatures games

I did get a nice note in the mail today from Greg at Wizards...I posted it in the NHSD 2011 Photo Sharing Thread. Not much on the future of 'Scape tho...

Re: WotC has a survey about Miniatures games

Taken.

I took the short form, but touted the endless variety of 'scape as its major draw, also noting that it's not just battling (or skirmishing, in this case), but that it offers a story and characters that we can get behind as well.

Re: WotC has a survey about Miniatures games

Taken.

I made two points:

1. Why would I get into an inferior skirmish game when I have scape?

2. They asked if I would purchase an initial set at $45-50 for their new skirmish game. i said I would gladly pay that or more for quality HS expansions.

Taking the survey probably won't be efficacious, but it certainly was cathartic.

Re: WotC has a survey about Miniatures games

Done and done!

To be positive, I told them the Faction Pack was a great idea, and I'd buy them. (Too bad they didn't go this way with D&D Minis, etc.)

The word count is indeed restrictive!

I took the survey as well. It's a long shot, but here's hoping our collective voices will be heard.

Re: WotC has a survey about Miniatures games

I took the survey but since I answer "no" the the question about if I have ever played the D&D miniatures game I was just taken to the end of the survey.

I do surveys like this at my work. I would guess based on my experience with those, they are really looking for information about a D&D product that is already in development. They just are trying to figure out how to best market it. Any "freeform" answers you might give about Heroscape will probably be thrown out and have little if any impact since it is not information about the product they are developing.

Still can't hurt to let them know our feelings I suppose.
