Re: The Book of Rad-Beast (Initial Testing)
IRRADIATE
When Rad Beast rolls at least one skull for a normal attack, leaving engagement attack, or while defending a normal attack from an adjacent figure, before placing any other wounds, choose an adjacent figure to receive a wound. I could see doing something like that for clarity. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Rad-Beast Army Test Map: City Park (modified). Units: Rad-Beast(70) & Mad Thinker(160) vs. Green Goblin: Rad-Beast: Full & Mad Thinker 1wound, Green Goblin 1wound, GG 2wounds Night Crawler: NC 2w, NC 1w, NC 3w Puck: P 3w, P 4w, P 1w Shang-Chi: SC 3w, SC 2w, SC full 1-11 overall ___________________________________________________________ THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Pretty niche. Has really good auto wound potential in a fragile package. GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Interesting and fun. Your opponent will want to drop it fast. |

Re: The Book of Rad-Beast (Initial Testing)
I just went with a bunch of heavy hitter style tests here. I think he is good for more testing. A lot of potential especially against something like a Lantern but fragile enough to take out easily.

Worried about the 1-11 record at all?

Re: The Book of Rad-Beast (Initial Testing)
Not really. I figure Mad Thinker lost some value in those matchups and those are all solid individual figures at 230.
The potential is there I think, especially in bigger games. He could easily get his points with one turn or no turns. |
