David: “Put on your 3-D glasses, Sports Fans! I’m David, and I’m joined by Anti-bacterial Bob!”

Bob: “Thanks, David. Yes, we’re entering the second round of our Battle Bites tournament, and we are leaving the battle mat and are returning to a regular Heroscape map. It’s a C3G Map called Mountain Spring, and you simply had to add trees to it, didn’t you?”

David: “The lead designer was restraining himself to a limited build requirement so more people could build the map. I, on the other hand, know nothing of restraint!”

Bob: “That’s true, but the map really does look nice with them. However, we have Anti-Monitor in his start zone ready to make like Paul Bunyan!”

David: “I’m glad you remember, Bob. Let’s remind our viewers what we’re going to do in this round. Take us away, Sock Puppet!”

Sock Puppet: “Ready to assist! In this round, the eight Bad Teams will be split into two groups, with one team selected from each bracket to form a larger team. Each of the consolidated teams will face Anti-Monitor, and the consolidated team that performs better will see each of its members advance to Round 3. The same thing will be done for the Good Teams. Let’s check the Bad Guys!”

David: “Fantastic! Prepping is underway, and then we’ll return when the action is ready to begin!”

David: “Get your hiking boots on, Sports Fans, because we’re ready to mess with Anti-Monitor. Joining me is Bob!”

Bob: “Thanks, David. You know, I think Pam would love camping on this map.”

David: “She would, wouldn’t she? Is Pam around?”

Pam (enters): “Hey, guys! Don’t you just love this map?”

Bob: “Yes, and I immediately thought of you. However, you might want to stay clear for a few rounds, because we’re about to see a lot of action.”

Pam: “And you think I can’t hold my own against them? Huh?”

Bob: “Uh, uh, I’ve got to go to the bathroom!” (darts off)

David: “Surviving is one thing, Pam. Getting erased from existence is another.”

Pam: “Anti-Monitor?”

David: “Look at Monitor 3.”

Pam: “Bob! Come back!”

Bob: (enters) “Is it safe to come back?”

Pam: “Yes. I didn’t consider Anti-Monitor. It’s not that I can’t take him down by myself, you understand. It’s the fact that the big lug would just knock down my carefully prepared shelter. It takes a long time to build a proper shelter.”

David: “Thanks, Pam, but we need to get to the battle. Perhaps you could build a shelter under the big table in the conference room.”

Pam: “Perhaps I’ll just build a fire in your office. Later.” (exits)

David: “I hope she does. It would certainly clear the mess on my desk.”

Bob: “Let’s get started, shall we?”

Off-camera announcer: “Remember me? I’m here to remind you that this great battle is sponsored by the good folks at Burt’s Beer. Burt’s Beer: “Timmmmmmmm-BURTS!!!!!”

Round 2 – First Battle for Bad Teams
Metallo, Penguin / Zatanna, Shocker / Deadshot, Pied Piper, Rat Swarm x 7, Weather Wizard / Bizarro, Vulture

Vs. Anti-Monitor.

David: “Bob, this team will set the mark that the other team will have to beat in order to advance. We haven’t played a battle with glyphs in a while, but we’re going to leave them off for these battles. We also won’t consider the trees destructible objects. I’m a party pooper!”

Round 1
Bob: “Zatanna goes first, but Penguin takes the turn away from her with his Self Importance roll. That changes his Umbrella Copter’s move from 3 to 5. He copters himself over the ruin.”

David: “AM moves forward. He holds onto the X Order Marker, which would allow him to zip forward 10 spaces during his bonus turn.”

Bob: “Metallo starts to move, but Penguin flies ahead! Man, he really wants to battle! He lands near the top of the mountain.”

David: “AM slowly advances, then decides to exploit Penguin’s hasty advance by revealing the X to take a Master of Space bonus turn. He takes to the top of the mountain and fires down at the bird. He scores 1 wound (3 left).”

Bob: “Zatanna glares ahead at Penguin, and Penguin flips her the bird to take yet another Self Importance turn. This might be good for the Bad Team, as AM is in range for an Umbrella Gun strike. Penguin Copters over AM’s head and fires down with his Umbrella Gun Special Attack. The first strike scores 4 wounds against a whiffed defense (26 left). Are we going to see another whiff-a-thon? The second strike is even more brutal: 5 wounds!!! (21 left).”

David: “Time to take down the bird. It’s 4 skulls, but Penguin delivers 3 shields to only take 1 wound (2 left).”

Bob: “You need new dice, David.”

Round 2
David: “Anti-Monitor removes an Order Marker from the other team, and continues his strike at Penguin. It’s another 4sk vs 3sh for 1 wound (1 left). AM reveals the X to finish the job: 1 wound = KO! Despite hogging all the turns, his team mates cheer his determination.”

Bob: “And how. Penguin loses the turn.”

David: “AM flies down the mountain, but is just one space short of having range.”

Bob: “Zatanna goes. She hopes to plant her Epiwdnim marker to negate AM’s abilities, which would be huge. She takes position behind the ruin to hopefully hide.”

David: “AM flies down closer and hopes to gain Line of Sight on Zatanna. He can’t see her! He looks over his targets. Bizarro is in range to use his Villainous Duty if AM picks most of the targets. Villainous Duty allows Bizarro to move adjacent to the attacker if any friendly figure within 3 spaces of Bizarro rolls defense dice. That not only cancels the attack, but delivers an automatic wound to the attacker. So AM really has only one target: Bizarro! Bizarro takes 2 wounds (4 left).”

Bob: “Metallo checks with Penguin to see if he wants to take another Self Importance turn. Penguin rolls an 18, but the officials immediately blow the whistle and send him back to the bench. Metallo laughs and moves into engagement with AM. That will hold AM in his Clamp and Claw. If AM tries to move away, a d20 roll of 14 or higher prevents movement and delivers a wound. Metallo strikes and scores a wound (20 left).”

David: “We’re having a great battle, folks!”

David: “AM removed the X order marker in the last round, and he hopes to pick a numbered marker in this round. Metallo is outside Bizarro’s Villainous Duty range, so strikes down. It’s 3 wounds (3 left). That exposes the Kryptonite Heart. That would be nasty with Superman, but Anti-Monitor isn’t Kryptonian. AM reveals the X for another strike, and Metallo subtracts 2 dice due to the exposed Heart. It’s a wound (2 left) and 2 knockback spaces. Yes, Bob. I am using knockback rules. I’m not a complete party pooper.”

Bob: “Bizarro had hoped to take initiative to put Metallo in his range. He’ll stick with the plan and flies up the mountain. That will leave his start zone members exposed. AM was too far away for his Freeze Vision, but he’s now in range for some Heat Breath! We’ve seen something like this with Supergirl: Roll 2 dice, and continue rolling additional dice for each skull as long as you can continue to roll skulls. Here we go: 1+1! AM blocks. Not enough heat.”

David: “This talk about heat makes me hungry for spicy pad thai. AM decides to hold engagement and pull into shadows for extra defense. He strikes up at Bizarro and delivers 2 wounds (2 left) and 1 knockback space. Bizarro slams into a tree and takes pine cone damage (1 left).”

Bob: “Metallo decides he needs the defense, so he voluntarily drops his Krytonite Glyph. His defense returns to normal, but Metallo loses his special abilities. It’s 3 wounds (17 left).”

David: “AM tries to finish off Bizarro. Bizarro slams into a tree unharmed.”

Bob: “Metallo’s order marker was removed from AM.”

Round 4
Bob: “Metallo strikes! It’s 2 wounds (15 left).”

David: “AM can see Zatanna from where he currently stands, so opts for an Erase from Existence roll. Metallo and Bizarro are safe, but Zatanna disappears!!! That’s the first time since playing Anti-Monitor that we’ve seen that work! Zatanna also has two order markers on her card, though we don’t know if one of them will be the X. AM reveals his own X and strikes Bizarro to no effect.”

Bob: “Zatanna loses the turn.”

David: “That’s one missed turn. Another strike at Bizarro scores a puny one skull, but Bizarro whiffs and goes down! Since both Bizarro and Zatanna have unrevealed order markers, it doesn’t matter which has the X. AM targets Metallo, who is at full defense and in the shadow. 4 wounds is a pretty decisive KO! Who else wants a piece of Anti-Monitor!”

Round 5
Bob: “Pied Piper flutes forward and summons his Rat Swarm with his Sonic Mind Control. Due to the carefully designed interplay between these designs, 6 of the rats swarm forward. Their Plague can be nasty against AM if he’s not careful.”

David: “AM had to originally consider the protective threat that Bizarro posed, but I’ve been forgetting about Weather Wizard. He has a Fog Cover 13 that is similar to the Nakita Agents’ Smoke. I’m surprised I still remember them, because I’ve been away from Classic Heroscape for some time other than the recent battle with C3V. I look forward to seeing more C3V/Classic/Matt Helm action soon. AM moves through the shadows and engages a Rat. Melee doesn’t trigger Fog Cover. 1 rat down, 6 to go.”

Bob: “Is he going to take a bonus turn?”

David: “Not now, apparently.”

Bob: “Pied Piper steps forward and takes a swipe, but AM blocks. He sends the rats ahead. Two nibble at AM’s heels in the first wave. No Plague and no bite. Another wave also fails.”

David: “AM is really annoyed at these rats. He attempts an Erase from Existence. No luck. He reveals the X and angrily squishes another rat.”

Bob: “Weather Wizard positions himself to cover the swarm with his potential Fog Cover. He unleashes a Lightning Re-Strike Special, which is two attacks. It’s a total of 3 wounds (12 left).”

David: “AM stomps another rat (4 remaining). That’ll give something for Pam to cook over the fire if she gets hungry.”

Pam (off camera): “They don’t taste that bad, you know!”

David: “AM has the drop. He’s currently away from the rats, but Pied Piper is underneath. He stomps and scores 3 wounds (1 left) and 2 knockback spaces. Pied Piper slams into Weather Wizard, and Pied Piper is KO! He reveals the X and steps towards Weather Wizard. He strikes down for 2 wounds (2 left) and 1 knockback space.”

Bob: “Pied Piper loses a turn.”

David: “AM steps down for another strike, but Weather Wizard blocks and is knocked back one space.”

Bob: “Weather Wizard cooks up another Lightning Re-Strike. AM blocks.”

David: “AM steps forward and takes down Weather Wizard. It looks like clear skies for Anti-Monitor.”

Bob: “Pied Piper loses the turn. Anti-Monitor had removed the X.”

Round 7
David: “AM strikes Vulture and hits for 3 wounds (1 left). He reveals the X and tries again, and Vulture flees the coop (KO).”

Bob: “Rats swarm AM to no avail.”

David: “AM swears and squishes a rat (3 remaining).”

Bob: “Shocker takes height next to a tree and fires his normal attack down at AM. Nothing.”

David: “AM stomps another rat (2 remaining). Are we having fun yet?”

Bob: “Yes we are! Vulture loses a turn.”

Round 8
David: “He stomps down at another rat, but it blocks. He reveals the X and decides to Master of Space away from the rat to take down Deadshot. One wound (3 left).”

Bob: “The two remaining rats squeak next to the big dude, but no damage. They really have been missing their Plague rolls.”

David: “AM is still engaged with Deadshot, so focuses on him. Blocked.”

Bob: “Shocker has to advance and hurls his Shockwave at AM. It’s mostly effective against destructible objects, but the special attack will give him an extra die. It’s 1 wound (11 left), which is the first wound scored against the big guy for some time.”

David: “6 perfect skulls is more than Deadshot’s 2 shields can handle. KO!”

Bob: “Deadshot loses a turn, meaning AM once again removed the X.”

David: “Man, AM is a lousy guesser.”

Round 9
Bob: “Rat attack! It fails.”

David: “AM uses his turn and the X turn to finish the two remaining rats.”

Bob: “Shocker pulls to the edge of the map to avoid knockback and fires his Shockwave. Whiffed defense scores 4 wounds (7 left). Man, this is close.”

David: “AM scores a wound on Shocker (3 left).”

Bob: “Shocker’s Shockwave is blocked. I’ve been neglecting shocker’s Vibroshock Knockback, but he’s only made one normal attack. It wouldn’t have had any impact.”

David: “AM takes height and fires down. 2 wounds (1 left).”

Round 10
Bob: “This should be the final round. Shocker takes height and strikes down. Whiffed attack.”

David: “AM strikes up, but it’s blocked. He uses Master of Space to take height and fires down. KO, and that’s the game!!!”

Bob: “Man, what a great battle! Anti-Monitor took down the Bad Team in Round 10, Turn 1. He survives with 23 wounds.”

David: “And that is the benchmark the other team must make. If they can defeat Anti-Monitor, or if Anti-Monitor takes them down past Round 10, Turn 1, the other team will advance. Otherwise, this team will advance.”

Bob: “It should be great!”

Programming note:

Congrats to the fabulous C3G on their latest wave celebrating all that is Batman! And I'm still working through their birthday wave from April.

In the announcement, you'll notice they are having a Map Making contest, where the winner will be invited to join the Map Department. Also, C3G is looking for another member for their Art Department. If you have mad skilz in creating Army Cards, send a PM to A3n with link to samples of your work. Never mind.

I've been taking this current tournament at a more relaxed pace to devote some time to some of the other board games in my collection, as well as not letting my EPB responsibilities slip. But this current delay in Round Two wasn't planned, as I got swamped recently at work. I'll just say computer problems suck the fun out of everything. Skies are clearing now, so I'm itching to proceed to the next battle as soon as I'm able.

Actually, and I was waiting on A3n to announce this, but since you mention it, we've tagged Flame Gryphon to join us in the Art Department (and thus Outer Sanctum) on a trial basis to see how it goes. I look forward to great things out of him.

Mike (enters): “Hey, guys. Oh, I see you found the minis I put on your desk.”

Bob: “Mike, these are stunning! Have you found a game in my trade list that you want in return?”

Bob: “Tell you what, Mike. You can have both. Oh, we are boring our viewers, so we need to get back to work.”

David: “Sorry about that, viewers. We’re up with our next battle, where the next Bad Team group is ready to tackle our 1600 point one-man band, Anti-Monitor.”

David: “See, Bob. Mike isn’t so bad.”

Bob: “I suppose not, at least when he’s not trying to kill us. I need to put these minis aside.”

Round 1

David: “I think we know who Kraven is tracking for his Big Game. Anti-Monitor will get the jump, however, and he takes away an Order Marker and flies forward. Kraven steps forward due to his Big Game Tracker ability, which allows him to move 3 spaces every time his prey reveals an Order Marker.”

Bob: “Trickster had his Order Marker removed.”

David: “A-M flies forward some more. He’s still holding on to his X Order Marker. Kraven moves.”

Bob: “Kraven has the next turn. He can’t quite put A-M into range, so he holds back in the shadows.”

David: “A-M flies up the mountain, but Kraven is too far away. Kraven holds. A-M reveals the X to take a Master of Space turn and warps forward. A-M fires down on Kraven, and Kraven blocks.”

Bob: Trickster flies forward and lobs his Itching Powder Special Attack up at A-M to deliver 1 wound (29 left), and A-M gets the Itching Powder Marker. A-M must roll the d20 each turn to determine how much his movement is reduced.”

David (singing): “The Itchy and Scratchy Show!!!”

Round 2
David: “A-M removes another Order Marker and checks his Itch. No matter, as A-M holds his high ground and fires down at Kraven, who held his ground. Kraven takes 2 wounds (4 left). A-M reveals the X and fires again with no damage.”

Bob: “Trickster lands next to A-M and strikes. His attack is blocked, but Trickster doesn’t roll a blank. If Trickster rolls a blank on his attack, Sticky Gum goes into effect and A-M would’ve rolled one fewer defense dice.”

David: “A-M is next, and Kraven will advance up the mountain. A-M must deal with Trickster and strikes down. 6 skulls, but Trickster’s Look Over There ability allows him to reveal the X on another card to cancel the attack. Rhino grins and tosses his X onto the ground.”

Bob: “Kraven had his Order Marker removed.”

David: “A-M can now freely strike down at the pesky Trickster, but he first triggers Kraven’s Big Game Tracker movement. By the way, there’s no need to roll for Itching if he’s not going to move. It’s 1 wound to Trickster (3 left) and 1 knockback space.”

Bob: “Kraven climbs up, then strikes up at A-M with his Nerve Punch. This adds an auto-skull and will remove a random Order Marker if he inflicts a wound. It’s ineffective, and we’ll scratch ourselves into the next round.”

(Note: Nerve Punch's Order Marker removal only applies to Unique Heroes, not Event Heroes.)

Round 3
Bob: “The Bad Guys finally win initiative. Trickster lands above A-M and strikes down for 2 wounds (27 left). Trickster is earning his pay!”

David: “Yeah, I think Big Blue is turning Big Red. A-M trigger’s Kraven’s movement, which is immune to an engagement strike. Kraven breaks engagement with A-M, which means A-M must either waste an attack due to Trickster’s Look Over There ability, or break engagement. A-M decides to break engagement, but must first check to see if Itching will reduce movement. He loses 1 movement and avoids Trickster’s engagement strike. A-M strikes down at Kraven. Kraven blocks, but is knocked down the mountain 3 spaces.”

Bob: “Kraven climbs up and strikes up at A-M with his Nerve Punch. It’s a wound (26 left), and A-M loses an Order Marker. “

David: “A-M trigger’s Kraven, and A-M fires down at Kraven for 2 wounds (2 left). A-M reveals the X and takes down Kraven. Since A-M is Huge, Kraven couldn’t use his Bolas.”

Bob: “Trickster strikes down to no effect.”

David: “A-M lost his Order Marker from Kraven’s Nerve Punch.”

Round 4
David: “A-M has the first turn, and he strikes up at Trickster. Trickster yells, ‘Hey, Look Over There,’ but the X was removed by A-M’s Master of Time! Trickster takes a wound (2 left) and is knocked back into the river. A-M reveals the X and fires down. Trickster is knocked out from the 2 wounds.”

Bob: “Trickster loses a turn.”

David: “A-M scratches and loses 1 move. He flies down, but is too far away.”

Bob: “Hydro-Man cracks his knuckles and actually moves away from A-M, taking cover behind a tree. His Tital Wave is ineffective against Huge figures. This team is really operating at less than full capacity.”

David: “Maybe so, Bob, but they are currently holding their own for a potential survival to Round 10. That’s really all they need to advance in the tournament. A-M loses 2 movement from the itch and flies down a level. Doctor Octopus is just in range, so A-M fires down for 1 wound (3 left).”

Bob: “Rhino moves forward, then Rhino Charges 2 spaces to slam up at A-M! That’s +2 attack. A-M takes a wound (25 left). If Rhino doesn’t inflict a wound with his Charge, then Rhino rolls an unblockable attack die against himself!”

David: “Bob, we’ve got a great battle. We’ll have more action to come!”

David: “A-M takes command and removes another O-M. A-M strikes down at Rhino, and Rhino’s auto-shield from Tough protects him. Rhino is knocked down 1, which could set him up for another charge. A-M reveals the X, warps to the start zone. He strikes down at Black Cat. Really? That doesn’t make sense.”

Bob: “I think he wants to take her out of the picture. Her Bad Luck Aura will nerf his Erase From Existence roll. “

David: “OH! Ok, that makes sense. It’s a skull, and Black Cat makes her Bad Luck Aura d20 roll to force a re-roll of the skull. A-M still gets the skull, but Black Cat blocks.”

Bob: “Doctor Octopus had his Order Marker removed.”

David: “A-M takes another swipe at the Cat, but she just gets knocked backwards.”

Bob: “Doctor Octopus is already engaged with A-M after the big guy’s warp, so the Doc swings his Telescopic Tentacles for four attacks. A-M blocks all four attacks.”

David: “A-M’s 4 skulls are reduced to 3 due to Bad Luck, but it will be good for 2 wounds on Black Cat (2 left).”

Bob: “Rhino pulls back, then Charges forward to slam into the Big Guy. It’s only good for 2 skulls, and A-M blocks easily. Fortunately, the unblockable attack on Rhino for failing is a blank.”

Round 6
Bob: “Doc Ock strikes, but the four attacks produce nothing but air.”

David: “A-M really wants to clear his Bad Luck and continues to focus on the Cat. 3 skulls are reduced to 0 from the Bad Luck. Fine. A-M reveals the X and strikes down at Doc Ock instead. Bad Luck only works against strikes on Black Cat, or on any d20 roll against a figure within 4 spaces of her. The Doc is KO!”

Bob: “Rhino takes a wound to break from A-M (5 left). He pulls back, and slams into A-M for another Rhino Charge. 6 skulls vs 1 shield delivers 5 wounds (20 left).”

David: “Nice! Another attempt to take down the Kitty fails to score any damage.”

Bob: “Good Kitty! Rhino pulls back safely and Charges forward! 8 dice tumble down the tower, and it’s only one blocked skull. This time, Rhino will take a wound from the failed charge (4 left).”

David: “A-M continues his focus on Black Cat. He clears the Bad Luck roll for 3 good skulls, but the Cat has 3 shields to block! First Trickster, and now Black Cat. That can’t make his Itching Powder feel any better.”

Round 7
David: “A-M slams down at Black Cat for 1 wound (1 left), then reveals the X for another strike. This time, it’s Black Cat who has the Bad Luck. Kitty goes Bye-Bye!”

Bob: “Give her a warm saucer of milk! The Hood strikes A-M with his Double Attack, inflicting 2 wounds (18 left). That triggers a bonding turn with a Criminal, so Hood gives the turn to Rhino. Rhino takes an engagement strike wound to make another Rhino Charge. It’s 6 skulls, but 4 shields will reduce it to 2 wounds (16 left).”

David: “Now A-M gives his Erase from Existence a shot, with 4 eligible and very nervous targets. Wait! Doctor Light’s Blinding Light will prevent this! Bob: “Rhino loses a turn.”

David: “A-M tries to knock out Doctor Light’s lights, but he may as well forget about his Erase from Existence. The Doc whiffs defense and takes 3 wounds (2 left).”

Bob: “Sandman decides his 6 attack is better than 3 attack and an unblockable attack with Sandstorm. Good choice, because he lands 4 wounds (12 left) and 3 knockback spaces.”

Round 8
David: “A-M avoids the itch and steps forward, hitting the Light with 1 wound (1 left). A-M reveals the X and finally knocks out the Doc’s Lights for good.”

Bob: “The Hood’s Double Attack inflicts a wound (11 left), which allows him to give a bonding turn to Sandman. Sandman strikes, but it whiffs.”

David: “A-M will attempt to Erase the three survivors. No good.”

Bob: “Sandman is still staring at his fist in disbelief after that whiffed attack. He clenches his fist, and strikes. It’s a wound (10 left).”

David: “A-M swings at Sandman and hits for 3 wounds (2 left) and 3 knockback spaces. Sandman opts not to enforce his Immovable, because that would make him vulnerable to knockback damage.”

Bob: “Hydro-Man’s Tidal Wave is useless, so he simply fires at A-M at range. He whiffs.”

Round 9
Bob: “The Hood puts on his Cloak of Dormammu, which gives him flying, protection from engagement strikes, and protection from clear sight attacks and abilities. He flies to a high spot and fires down with his Double Attack. The first attack is blocked, and the second whiffs. It appears the Bad Guys are having some Bad Luck. Since he failed to inflict a wound, he can’t pass a bonding turn.”

David: “Big Blue fires down at Sandman to no effect, then reveals the X for another strike. It’s a wound (1 left).”

Bob: “Hydro-Man pulls back. He wants to bring the battle where he has a shot at high ground.”

David: “A-M’s movement is completely wiped due to all the itching, so he fires down at Sandman. Sandman whiffs the roll and takes 3 wounds for a KO!”

Bob: “The Hood pulls into shadows and fires down to deliver 3 wounds (7 left). Hydro-Man isn’t a Criminal or Crime Lord, so doesn’t get to take a bonding turn.”

David: “A-M continues to scratch, and his movement is once again nulled. He can’t fire at The Hood due to the Cloak’s effect, and Hydro-Man is behind a tree. All he can do is scratch!”

Bob: “At the end of the round, The Hood must roll the d20 to see if the Cloak backfires. The roll is good, and Hood avoids becoming a Demon.”

Round 10
David: “A-M removes an Order Marker and has his move reduced to 3. He flies forward and fires up at Hood due to the Cloak not being activated at the moment. The Hood takes 3 wounds (2 left). A-M reveals the X and warps to height. He strikes down at The Hood for 1 wound (1 left).”

Bob: “The Hood reveals the X to put on his Cloak. He flies away and fires down. He scores 2 wounds (5 left).”

David: “We’re now at Turn 2 of Round 10, which means the game is good enough to take this group to the next round!!! However, the crowd wants to see the battle completed, and so do we! A-M fires down on Hydro-Man for 3 wounds (2 left).”

Bob: “Hydro-Man climbs to height and fires down to score 2 wounds (3 left).”

David: “A-M flies up and fires down at Waterboy. Hey, how did Adam Sandler get into this battle? It’s enough damage to flush Hydro-Man down the drain.”

Bob: “The 3 Order Marker was removed, and the Cloak of Dormammu bites back at The Hood. Hood loses all his abilities, and he’s now a Demon Devourer.”

Round 11
David: “A-M fires up at The Hood, and it’s KO for the game. A-M has only 3 Life remaining.”

Bob: “What a great pair of battles. The first group of Bad Guys were outperformed, so they will exit the tournament. All four Battle Bite teams in this battle will advance.”

David: “And we’ll see how the Good Teams will fare. Good night!”
