I feel like we should make a symbol for shielding like the flying or super strength symbols, so as not to take up to much room on the card. Maybe have a number in the symbol to specify how many shield markers they get?

Actually, that was something that I thought that we going to go with, and makes sense to have something like that for us.

I'd love to have a symbol, with a number included for clarity.
I'd like to emphasize something about the SPARTAN-II figures. SPARTAN-II's were priceless assets, their armor alone costing as much as a UNSC battle group. SPARTANs should be game-changing units, and the Chief himself should be the core of an army. SPARTAN-III's and IV's should be powerful, but not quite like the II's. Besides, in the near future, I only expect to see the Chief himself and Jorge as far as II's go. Noble Team's SPARTAN-III's were about as good as they get as well. To draft the whole Noble Team should cost about 1000 points, minimum. SPARTANs are legendary, taking on armies on their own. Noble should be its own army. Perhaps we could have some kind of special SPARTAN-endurance or SPARTAN-training type ability, just to make them more than a regular human soldier with energy shielding slapped on their card? That's just my input, as I believe the gravity of SPARTAN's training and equipment should be emphasized as much as possible without breaking the game. EDIT: Hey, ZettianJuggernaut, you mind adding my name to the duty roster again? I kinda fell out of the project last time. Also, why is the UHS site so... dead? I agree with everything wizard points out. But what would these abilities imply? Would they be identical to super strength? I think they could do something like allow them to use all types of weapons if we go the weapon route etc.

Some things to keep in mind are simplicity and compatibly. Super-accurate theme-drenched custom units.... Eh. it's just my opinion that the best media-based customs are the ones that capture the essence of a character, rather than try to fit in every little detail.
