2 vs 1 squad ownage

Hey i would like to share my story with you about how a skinny field worked well for me with the use of squads. Well it was me vs my two friends. I only had 3 games under my belt while they had been playing for about 2 weeks. They set up the field with about 10 or 12 spaces wide and around 30 or so long. They picked alot of strong powerful heros while i was left with all squads. I was worried and did not think i could possibly win.

So as the game progressed my friends moved their heros up with the valkrie giving a defence of bonus. There was a slight hill in the middle so i moved 3 of my squads up the slant of my side. So they being experenced brought heros to the top of the hill.. yet i have some range and shot down the deathwalker 9000 eventually. Then slowley one by one i took out the rest of their retreating army with out even moving my viking squad.

And there it is i won the battle with like 4 or 5 squads. So to me i think the smaller the battle field the better squads are because you can surround the heros and take them down.
