I'd recommend reaching out and seeing what his timetable is. Be honest and tell him we have him about nailed down so if he's not going to have time over the weekend he can switch over to something else. He doesn't seem like the type fishing to see unreleased designs like some have been. He seems pretty straight up.
I don't want to encourage signing up and then not testing, but I like Lobster and think his intentions are good so I could give him a pass here if he wants to switch it to another figure in testing.

Units: Doctor Doom (Sorcerer) Doombots x3, Daimon Hellstrom, Hellfire Firelines x2, Ignition x3, Vapors of Valtore, Enchant, Mystic Flames x3 (1,000) VS. Nick Fury, Scarlet Spiders (150) Gorilla Man, Shield Agents x2, Sharon Carter, Hawkeye, Skrull Infiltrator.
Spoiler Alert!
Nick Fury and a squad of Shield Agents start in the helicarrier. Round 1 Gorilla Man takes 3 wounds from Daimon’s normal attack. Hawkeye deals a wound to a Doombot. Doctor Doom places an Invocation Marker.
Round 2. Gorilla Man is down to a single life after defending against a doombot. Gorilla Man cannot put a wound on Helstrom. The dice are really in Hawkeyes favor this round as he blocks 2 helfire ignition attacks from Daimon. Scarlett Spiders move up and are able to wound Helstrom. Doctor Doom places an Invocation.
Round 3, Fury and his Shield Agents drop into the center of the map. Gorilla man and Shield Agents put 2 wounds on Daimon Helstrom. Scarlet Spiders and Hawkeye are all lined up for a Hellfire line. Iron Spider ability blocks the adjacent attack but the second spider goes down, Hawkeye blocks. Sharon Carter double attacks Helstrom from and deals a single wound. The Shield agents elect to avoid LEAs and roll their attacks separately but failed to do any damage to Daimon. A Doombot kills a Shield Agent.
Round 4. Doctor Doom moves up, and killed a Shield Agent. Gorilla Man eliminates Daimon Helstrom. Scarlet Spiders move up and cannot hurt the Doombot. Gorilla Man moves to engage Doom, but cannot hurt him, Scarlet Spiders take height and attack Doom, dealing a single wound. Doom uses Mystic Flames but it is defended by all 3 effected figures.
Round 5 Doctor Doom casts his Enchant Spell on Nick Fury. Doctor risks LEA but doesn’t take the hit. He destroys Nick Fury for 4 wounds but fails to take control of him. Nick and his Spiders cannot hurt Doctor Doom. Doom kills Fury and takes control of Sharon Carter, she attacks Gorilla Man twice but he defends each. (Gorilla Man has been rolling ridiculously for his defense this entire game, consistently getting the exact number he needs)
Round 6. Gorilla man Engages Doom and deals a wound. Gorilla Man is finally eliminated by a Doombot. Hawkeye Cannot hurt the final Doombot. Doom engages Sharon and his dice doom her life. She is eliminated, but Doom fails to take control of Hawkeye.
Round 7. Hawkeye takes height but cannot hurt the Doombot. Doom kills Hawkeye but rolls a 2 for Mystic Domination and loses all his powers! 2OM was on Hawkeye. Doom kills a Shield Agent. Shield Agents deal 1 wound to Doom. Doom kills another Agent.
Round 8. Shield Agent win Initiative, ut cannot hurt Doom. The last Doombot (which now has better stats than the real Doom) rolls up and takes out the last figure for the Agents. Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Doctor Doom (Sorcerer) with 1/5 Remain, and Doombot with 0 wounds.

Round 1. 3 SHIELD Agents ride along with Director Fury in the Helicarrier, and are placed in the middle of the map.
Initiative - Agents.
Black Widow moves 5 spaces with her Espionage special ability. Everyone moves up.
Round 2. Initiative - Criminals.
LexCorp moves up and attacks an adjacent Iron Man. It is defended from height advantage. Doc Ock moves up and is within 2 spaces of Iron Man, his attacks deal 2 wounds to Iron Man. SHIELD Agents use Kill Box Special Attack on Doc Ock, and it lands a single wound. Iron Man kills a LexCorp Enforcer and retreats. LexCorp Security Enforcer moves up and is incapable of destroying a SHIELD Agent. Doc Ock moves in between 3 SHIELD Agents, he is able to destroy 2 of them. Scarlet Spiders close in and use their Range to attack Doc. All 3 attacks are blocked. Black Widow deals 2 wounds from range on Doc and uses Widow’s Bite to eliminate the 8-legged crook. A new LexCorp moves up and takes out a SHIELD Agent but a wild Skrull appears!. Battlesuit Lex moves up and uses his Kryptonite Blast SA to hurt multiple squaddies but his roll is weak. 1 Scarlet Spider uses his Swing Line.
Round 3. Initiative - Criminals
LexCorp moves up and cannot wound Iron Man, Lex can’t eliminate a SHIELD Agent. Black Widow attacks an adjacent LexCorp and destroys him as he whiffs on defense. 1 Scarlet Spider uses height to destroy a LexCorp. The rest attack Lex but do no damage. The remaining LexCorp attacks from afar and kills the Skrull. Mysterio advances and puts 2 wounds on Black Widow. 2 whiffs from the Scarlet Spiders and a single skull roll isn’t enough to wound Lex. Black Widow can also not get through his armor. LexCorp continues to fire from afar to no avail. Mysterio places holographs on either side of Lex, and his boosted attack brings Black Widow down to 1 remaining life. Black Widow puts 2 wounds on Mysterio.
Round 4. Initiative - Criminals.
The final LexCorp kills an adjacent Scarlet Spider. Lex eliminates Ms. Romanova. Mysterio lands his Smoke and Mirrors against the 1st Scarlet Spider and then defends against another Scarlet Spider attack. Iron Man from height eliminates Mysterio. Lex puts one wound on Iron Man. A Scarlet Spider takes out the final LexCorp. Iron Man takes out a Mysterio Holograph.
Round 5. Initiative - Agents.
Iron Man destroys the final Mysterio Holograph. A Scarlet Spider gets an attack through Lex’s Kryptonian Armor for 1 wound. Wizard moves up and from range cannot hurt either Scarlet Spiders who immediately uses their Swing Line. The Scarlet Spiders and Iron Man attack Wizard. Their rolls are weak 1-2 skulls each and Wizard elects to save his XOM. However his defensive rolls are poor and he takes 2 wounds total. Wizard gets adjacent to Iron Man for a nasty attack but it is blocked. 1 Scarlet Spider rolls 3 skulls against Wizard and he uses his X force field. The next Spider whiffs the attack but Iron Man rolls a 3-skull swing. KOs Wizard and their 3OM instantly.
Round 6. Initiative - Criminals.
Lex KO’s Iron Man with a 4 skull attack. SHIELD Agents move up but cannot hurt Lex. Fury’s 1st shot of the game does not land. Lex fails to injure a Scarlet Spider. Nick Fury, and his SHIELD Agents do not hurt Lex; Lex is equally as successful. SHIELD Agents attack again but no shots land, Director Fury rolls 4 skulls and lands 2 hits on Lex’s bald head.
Round 7. Initiative - Criminals.
Lex is tied up between a Scarlet Spider and a SHIELD Agent, with 1 life remaining he cannot disengage to attack Nick Fury. His attack against a SHIELD Agent is blocked. Agents do no harm to Lex. Back and forth we go. And again. Lex kills a SHIELD Agent. Scarlet Spider moves up and takes the place of the fallen SHIELD Agent. The 3 attacks do no harm to Lex.
Round 8. Initiative - Criminals. Lex fails to hurt a Scarlet Spider whose Iron Spider auto shield saved him. The Spiders cannot hurt Lex, A 4 skull smash from Fury does the trick and Lex’s last stand is over.
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Agents are victorious. Nick Fury 5/5 Life, with 2 SHIELD Agents and 2 Scarlet Spiders.
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Agents are always draftable because the faction is very cool. You really can't go wrong with, a movement power, range, and a defensive power With their swinging and Iron Spider power they bring the fun. They went 1/1 in my games so balance seems A-ok.
GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Both games played were a blast! The Spiders fit into the faction smoothly, their Iron Spider ability makes them a fun pairing with Stealth Suit Iron Man. Their durability allowed 2/3 to survive in a game against a formidable LexCorp build. Their Swinging and 6 move gives them some mobility as well. That is something I always struggle with when using the Agents. Too bad there’s only room for 4 in a massive Helicarrier Overall, very fun and I have already purchased the figures.
P.S. Doctor Doom Sorcerer was super fun as well (luckily my mistake with his D20 boost didn’t affect gameplay) and the whole spell system is an amazing addition. Props to everyone involved.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
