I'd say B as well.... The idea of regeneration would be kinda fun but I can see it being a bit hard to iron out. When you reach 0 Life are you considered dead or knocked out in Heroscape?

Thematically that's up to your interpretation. Mechanically there's no difference.

I wasn't really thinking mechanically.... I was thinking if the rules state that the figure is knocked out or dead then that would be a better way to determine if "Regeneration" is even needed. I'll dig out my rule books. Hold on...

Heroscape and AOTP state a figure is destroyed when it's life reaches zero. I'd still stick with B. That word has a few definitions, talk about beating around the bush. It could either be; you wiped that figure out and left no trace (Thanos Snap) or sent it home in shame (knocked out, injured, or just humiliated). 😂

It's interesting because there are a few powers that go with the destroyed = dead premise. See Ragman stealing the souls of those he defeats. But it's weird to think superheroes in C3G are constantly murdering each other every time they destroy one another. Best to keep the rules flexible.

THE HYBRID
At the start of each round, before placing Order Markers you may choose one special power from the Army Card of a Unique Gallifreyan Wanderer Hero you control. For the rest of the round, Clara may use that special power as if it were her own. If the special power refers to the chosen figure or the chosen figure's card, it refers to Clara or Clara's card instead.

COMPANION
After revealing an Order Marker on the Army Card of a Unique Gallifreyan Hero you control and taking a turn with that Gallifreyan, if Clara is within 6 clear sight spaces of that Gallifreyan, you may take an immediate turn with Clara, and you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control.

So one of the upsides of ditching regeneration as a power is that it makes this specific design possible. Clara's shtick after her first season was "Look at me, I can be the Doctor too!" so it made sense to play that up quite literally. I decided not to mess with the whole Impossible Girl multiple versions thing, as that only really lasted for 1 season and probably wouldn't come up in a battle. S7 Clara is basically a different character from S8-9 Clara, so it seems fitting to ditch it anyways.

Since you mentioned it, I'm loving Doom Patrol more and more every episode. The episode after Karen takes a Morrison story arc and actually manages to do it better, which blew my mind.

She's taken Tae Kwon Do classes. But yeah, I think 2 would probably be better. She's not nearly on the same level as a trained SHIELD Agent or anything.

I still wouldn't mind seeing a power that represents her distracting the Doctor with her high maintenance b.s. and making it harder for him to be effective. But that might just be me.

I'm a card-carrying member of the Clara Oswald defense squad, so you're out of luck. Although I do absolutely hate the ending they gave her. Feels really unearned and undermines the really powerful grief analogy in Heaven Sent.
