Here's a mechanic I always had saved away in the back of my head as a goody Deadpool thing.

MOVE = 1
RANGE = 2
ATTACK = 1
DEFENSE = 0

”AH CRAP, I REALLY NEEDED THOSE”
Start the game with 4 red Limb Markers on this Army Card. Add 1 to Deadpool's Move, Range, Attack, and Defense numbers for each Limb Marker on this Army Card. When Deadpool would receive 2 or more wounds, ignore one of those wounds and remove a Limb Marker from this Army Card. Whenever you remove a Wound Marker from this Army Card with the Healing Factor X special power, you may replace it with a previously removed Limb Marker.

Obviously that's a big text space sink, so just depends on where you want to go with the design.

I'll also agree that I'd be happy to see a Weasel card (or even a Story Card?) that gave Deadpool the TP belt and a few small boosts. Just depends on where you want to go really.

At work right now, but this is what I had last night after working on it some.

After revealing an Order Marker on this card and before taking a turn with Deadpool, remove one Wound Marker from this card. At the end of the round, remove one Wound Marker from Deadpool for each numbered Order Marker on this card.

It also fits more of a "carrot" motivation, since I dropped the OM stealing on the first power and am working on something else for it also realized it should totally be named
MERC WITH A MOUTH
so I'm redesigning it to fit that thematically.

Like he's a Mutate on this design so I think distancing him further from Healing Mutants also makes sense. Plus his healing does work differently since it depends on his mood and how much he concentrates.

I was always a fan of this power I had for a Deadpool II a long time ago:
REGENERATIN' DEGENERATE
After taking a turn with Deadpool, you may remove 1 Wound Marker from this card. When Deadpool is destroyed, begin your next turn with a total of 5 Wound Markers on this card. Whenever a numbered Order Marker is revealed on a card you control, immediately remove 1 Wound Marker from this card. If the last Wound Marker is removed from this card while he is destroyed, immediately place Deadpool on an empty space adjacent to any figure you control.

For Merc With A MOUTH I'm thinking of doing an X reveal where he can ditch rolling defense dice (like Poison does) in exchange for something good, which would make the mondo-healing more balanced in playstyle.

I do not see healing 6 wounds per round, flying.
That would be brutal to take down.

I really dig that Mr. Nobody angle with the limbs getting cut off. Plus we already have head markers, so getting the limbs completes the set.
That and a wacky teleport power would be a nice combo with its own style.

Well I was also gonna drop his life down to 5.
It might work with 4.

The idea of not defending himself because he's too busy chattering and then getting some advantage from it tracks for me. Maybe an Order Marker removal deal? They're so busy trying to kill him that it takes up all their time and attention?

Yeah I was basically thinking of ripping from Negotiation, but working on a way for it to feel more like that's happening.

I like the Limb markers idea, I'd just need to condense it so it doesn't eat up the card.

I’m not a fan of limb markers cause it essentially just a second form of wound markers on the card that has a different effect. You could tie that power to the number of wounds on his card.

At the start of the game, choose an opponent's Unique or Event Hero to be Deadpool’s Contract. When Deadpool’s Contract rolls attack dice against Deadpool, you may choose not to roll defense dice. If you do not, and Deadpool is not destroyed by the attack, you may immediately remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random from Deadpool’s Contract’s Army Card and if Deadpool did not receive one or more wounds from that attack, Deadpool’s Contract cannot target any figure other than Deadpool for an attack until the end of the round.

Start the game with the Glyph of Teleportation Belt on this card. Once per round, after moving and instead of attacking with a Unique Mercenary Hero you control, if that Hero ends its move engaged with Deadpool’s Contract, you may reveal an “X” Order Marker on this card. If you do, you may move Deadpool and roll an unblockable attack die against his Contract if he ended his move adjacent to his Contract.

“ARE YOU THERE, DEADPOOL? IT'S ME DEADPOOL.”
An opponent can never take temporary or permanent control of Deadpool and if an Order Marker would be removed from Deadpool's card, you may choose not to remove it.

Deadpool V2
Most of what I had last night with some tweaks. I know it's too long right now, I think cutting something (probably in the first power since it may see reuse) and some wording adjustments would get it under the mark.

4 Defense, 5 Life, MwaM making him risk wounds, and the fact he'd only heal at most four wounds (which he would be healing anyway with HFX) makes me worry less about his special healing power. Plus he's a single attacker.

I see no need for 4 powers here. I would start by dropping the last power which is essentially a mental Shield and I know of no reason why he would have it.
Again I will be stunned if healing 6 wounds a round flys.
Though he is pretty squishy which feels off for Deadpool.
The first power should be fairly easy for the opponent to get around depending on their army.
