I dunno. I think he's pretty solidly balanced and pretty clearly in about a 10 point range, give or take. It's just narrowing in and verifying. 270-280, I'd say.

Yeah, aside from the currently open question about his pairing with Joker, I'm with Bats here - he's pretty straightforward and we're just at the stage of ascertaining that 1) Joker won't break him, 2) whether he should be 270 or 280 and 3) whether he's worth drafting without a fellow Avenger leader, and 3's arguably not even necessary.

I'd doubt you'd do it often, but I'd like it to be vaguely viable (if only so we can eventually play a Civil War airport scene match-up...). But yeah... not a priority.

I'd just fudge that one and go with a Cap/Wasp team versus an Iron Man/Ms. Marvel team. That would be way more fun to actually play than an exact match up from the movie.

She-Hulk with 5/6 wounds, Thing with 2/6 wounds, and Angel unwounded.

Well that was a brutal fight. Adventurers didn't win initiative until round 8, and Joker messed with their Order Markers for the first 5 rounds. The Fantastic Four also rolled low for Fantastic Four, only getting more than 1 other turn beyond Mr. Fantastic once the whole game. So some poor luck there. They also put several turns Order Markers onto Invisible Woman. Yet, they still managed to pull out the win thanks to Human Torch staying in the fight long enough due to Mr. Fantastic holding people away from him, and him making his defense rolls. Iron Man went above and beyond damage wise.

Another crazy match, but somehow the Fighters made it happen. Joker + initiative boost made for anything but peak performance for the Fighters, but they all being decent for their points helped keep each turn useful.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
As scary and potentially unfun as the Joker combo is, it's ultimately beatable as with these 2 games. I think 280 is probably better to be safe, but I haven't looked at the other results so make a decision based on all together. Iron Man makes for a perfect fit for the Avengers synergy, providing everything Cap would want, and being able to do a decent amount of damage with lots of options, he's a decent threat himself. Very fun, and he's an obvious draft for Avengers armies.

I think we made it actually mandatory (or at least very strongly encouraged) to ping the CRB before going to final editing now, to make sure we're going back over the results as a group.

Yes, we did make it a requirement to get CRB approval before Final Editing now. That said, I think we're okay here.

I'm starting to think he could use a points drop after those two tests. I know Lazy was wanting a points drop earlier and I wasn't sold on the idea then, but now I'm coming around to it. In that first game everything was going wrong for the Fan4, yet they still won a solid victory. Then in the second game he lost again even with Joker breaking up the steady diet of bonding turns with Luke Cage for the first 4 rounds of the game.
