Re: Northern California Directory, 2nd ed.
Always fashionaby late,....or just late,....
3-4 trophy events a year sounds good. And I like the forward tinking to ensure that the trophy arrives at the event. 9 RotV - 4 SotM - 5 DDMS - 2 MarvelScape - 7 RttFF - 6 FotV - 5 VW - 4 TT - 4 TJ - 5 GC Xclusive - 6 FB's - 1,561 Figures - 7,147 Hexes - 174.24% Complete - (All for just $4,000 BUCKS) |

Re: Northern California Directory, 2nd ed.
I think if you can get interest and commitment by people to show up, then spreading the tournaments around makes sense. If people get one closer to them and get a taste of the fun that can be had, they're more likely to drive to one further away and that would boost attendance and the fun level for all.

Re: Northern California Directory, 2nd ed.
I think that if we have 3 Trophy tournaments a year the local intervening events will still probably have the same draw of about 12-20 players, but hopefully the "big" events would draw people in from further away, especially once everyone started to get to know eveyone else. Then we might start looking at some serious congregations of 'scapers.
Just to throw my dream scenario in the ring, if Valley War I in Modesto late this summer has a decent draw move it to June next year, add a tourney around February somewhere near Walnut Creek if someone near there is game to organize it, and have the BAB in San Jose on NHSD. Of course all this is only relevent if our 'scapin' brothers to the north and east are interested in participating... |

Re: Northern California Directory, 2nd ed.
I say 3 Trophy Events a year, with 4 regular non-trophy events for a total of 7 events a year. That way there's a decent amount of tournaments, and they can be spread out if needed. I would might want to fit in a team tournament in here. That would be fun .

Re: Northern California Directory, 2nd ed.
Results from the Legacy Tournament are up!
Hope I've provided enough data to update the NERV rankings Killo. I posted two rankings: one uses kill points as the second criterion, the other uses SoS. Out of curiosity, which is more helpful for ya? |

Re: Northern California Directory, 2nd ed.
Modesto isn't too terribly far from me (I think 2.5 hours). I think I may have to check out that tourney you fellas are talking about in the summer. I'm not all that good considering my only opponent is my 7 year old, but I really enjoy the game.
