When a figure you control destroys this figure, place a water tile on the space it occupied and roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 6 or higher, place a water tile adjacent to the last water tile placed and roll again for Torrential Burst.

You can get a MASSIVE flood or just a little trickle, a big round pond or a straight line, all that.

The only problem is that they would act as full-on water tiles... like, you can dive in them with some figures, have to stop movement, all that.

Shouldn't there be a line about rolling till you fail to get a scuccess in there? other than that, I love that Idea.

Well it does say you only reroll if you roll a 6 or higher so I think that covers it.

What if I used all of my water tiles in building my map? With no set limit on this, I'd have no idea how many to set aside for any hydrant. Also, water should come out when it's uprooted from the ground and thrown as well.

I'm not sure how it would work but destroying the hydrant to take down someone flying over it would be pretty cool.

Magneto passes over a fire hydrant on his way to the top of a near by warehouse ruin when suddenly Captain America throws his shield in Magnetos direction. Seeing that the usually accurate Captains' throw is far to low to hit him he ignores the shield, that was a mistake. The shield throw takes the top right off the fire hydrant below, sending forth a sudden gusher of water straight up 30 feet into the air. The blast of water slams into the surprised Magneto, sending him crashing to the ground beside the broken fire hydrant. Dazed, Magneto begins to rise up off his knees when he looks up to see Captain America striking down at him. The last thing that passes through his mind before losing consciousnesses is, "what fire hydrant?"

As far as which water tile to use, I'd be okay with replacing the hydrant with a single blue water tile when destroyed or thrown. Hulk could conceivably tear up a section of the surrounding concrete when he rips the hydrant out of the ground, opening up a larger opening to the cities main water line. But any spill over water onto adjacent tiles really should not restrict movement since it would only be ankle deep with a concrete base.

Agreed. Perhaps, when it is destroyed, a single water tile could be put in it's previous place, and then you could roll as stated in the current power to place swamp water tiles.

I can see the problems there, but I think we're a pretty clever community. What if you draft Magma on a map that uses up all of your lava tiles, or Icicle on an ice-heavy map? You proxy.
