I've wanted to design Wiccan and Hulkling for a while and I forgot I convinced Bats to release them in June so I gotta work them in here now. I'll probably smatter some non-Spidey stuff in so I don't get too burnt out on Peter.

Teleport: Used Wiccan to get Patriot and Kate into shooting position on the bridge. This was a solid play

Warper: Giving up an attack is a steep cost with no turn bonding or OM efficency. Attempted twice and failed both times

Magical Defense: Is good

So the YAs are really just weak. They have nothing a faction needs, no OM flex or bonding (outside of kinda Kate and Speed but neither are great), no auto-wounds (outside of Reality Warp now) which is just rough. I thought getting Kate and Patriot onto high ground and using Patriot to snipe enemies, they just got stomped by Mister Incredible (I didn't think they YAs could take him out as is), I think based on this that Wiccan is a hair too restricted, I want to drop the instead of attacking from Reality Warper and just keep it once per round with the current d20 roll)

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Elastigirl with 3 wounds, Violet and Dash and Jack-Jack unwounded, Mister Incredible with 6 wounds.

Warper: Attempted 3 times, suceeded twice, moved a wound to Old Lace from Patriot

Magical Defense: Is good

This game was much close and I didn't feel like Reality Warper was too oppresive. Kate and Patriot were able to do some more damage this game against the slightly weaker army which was nice. This was a nice close game that came down to Nico against Stature

Damage Dealt: 3 wounds on Electro with his attack, 1 wound on Vulture and Kraven with Reality Shift

Teleport: Used to get Cap up into the action at the start of round 2.

Warper: Attempted 2 times, succeded 2 times and moved 2 wounds to Mysterio and Kraven

Magical Defense: Is good

Putting Wiccan in a more generalist army felt good. He's a solid draft pick at 200 points, but even with Magical Defense, he's not very tough to take down when concentated on. Getting free attacks with Hawkeye and Spider-Man when putting an OM on Wiccan was nice. Certainly better than the free attacks from Kate... Either way the Sinister Six are savage and took out Captain America right at the end of round 2 and Spider-Man early in round 3. It was close but Howard was able to finish off Mysterio in the end.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: So the Young Avengers faction really needs some help, but Wiccan is a nice add. Probably slightly better in more generalist builds now, but that's not Wiccan's fault but the rest of the faction having mediocre synergies right now. I like 200 points for moving to public playtesting. Once he's done there and we have some experience with where Hulkling will land, we can tweak his cost up or down 5 points to make it more appealing to draft him with Hulkling potentially.
