Re: Doctor Fate (Kent Nelson) (Justice League) - Design
Class changed to Mystic. (unless we think there's a better synergy option out there)
Points raised from 370 to 400. Mystic Order from '2 to 4' to '2 to 5' for the heroes chosen for wound reorganizing. The slightest of buffs to accommodate the more major 30 point increase, and because 5 is easier to remember for him than 4. |

I think we could lose that either in the first power. It's pretty clear that it's one or the other without that.

Re: Doctor Fate (Kent Nelson) (Justice League) - Design
How does reorganizing wounds till they are within 1 wound of each other work?
Say you chose 5 Unique Heroes, 2 that you control, 3 an opponent controls, with a total of 15 wounds on their cards. What is your best way to distribute those 15 wounds? |

Re: Doctor Fate (Kent Nelson) (Justice League) - Design
It would require 3 wounds on each of their cards since there's 15 wounds and you chose 5 people. Now if there were 16 wounds and 5 people, you would do 3 on 4, then 4 on 1. That works because at most, you have a 1 wound difference between any 1 of them.
The strategy is how many you choose and how many wounds are at play. If you choose 2 people, one who has 5 wounds and the other who has 0, you can do one with 3 and the other with 2. In your example, let's say an ally has 5 wounds, and there are 4 unwounded enemies within range. The 4 enemies will now have 1 wound each, and your ally is down to 1 wound. Etc. You can think of it as if you are required to remove them all, then place them 1 by 1 on each chosen figure's card, alternating between them, no repeating til everyone has gotten an equal number, with an ending result of a max difference of 1 between all chosen figures. Not unlike houses and hotels in Monopoly rules. |

Okay, thanks. I just wanted to be sure I understood how to play it correctly.

Looks good. This guy is one of my favorites from 1.0, so happy to see him up and running.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I feel like Twist of Fate's mechanics are much clearer to me in 2.0. I dig the wording there. You roll at the start of the game and put your die on your card with that as your result. Then if someone else rolls, you can swap dice and they get your roll instead, but that's their roll, not their result, so they can still modify it from there, and you can with the roll you steal as well.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
