To be clear, it's either/or because it may be Kong leaping, thus you wouldn't want to roll one against himself. So the optional is more for the one being placed rather than the adjacent ones, which would be the confusion with these suggestions since it makes it seem like you can't roll against an adjacent if you didn't roll one for the placed figure.

Hmm, how about:

you may roll a damage die against it and you may roll a damage die against up to 1 figure adjacent to it.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

I only have Kong and Godzilla figures...so I know King G wasn't my pick
