oh duh!
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

REACTIVE MIND CONTROL 14
If Empress is targeted and attacked by an opponent's figure that does not have the Mental Shield special power, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 14 or higher, Empress takes no damage and the opponent's turn immediately ends. Take temporary control of the attacking figure. Move the attacking figure up to 4 spaces then return control of the figure to the player who controlled it before the Reactive Mind Control. Figures moved with this special power will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

I agree. Something happened to it at some point when the template was updated over the years. I personally just deleted two of the 3 layers and changed the text layer to be sharp and normal and for each card just change the color of the font manually to either match the name panel or contrast with the border color.
