The smallest bone found in the human body is located in the middle ear. The stapes (or stirrup) bone is only 2.8 millimetres (0.11 inches) long.

When I worked in a medical lab, I learned that the Hepatitis B vaccine is actually a yeast cell with the Hep B antigen (a molecule) attached to its cell membrane. So when you get that vaccine, you are not even getting a dead version of the virus, but a completely harmless yeast with a marker attached. The yeast I believe is Sacchoromyces cerevesiae, but I could be misremembering the spelling.
