That was my first impression of General as well, but I don't really have a better class, and I definitely like the lack of bonding on this guy.

Does he even need to use a machine gun? If necessary, you could always give him a different gun? Or maybe a special attack similar to Major Q9's Queglix Gun special attack or the assault rifle that Punisher has but edited slightly and as a special attack? I don't know much about Spawn, but the pictures suggest to me he uses more than just machine guns.

He uses small arms and heavy arms. But the point is no one weapon is more prevalent than the machine gun for him. Heavy fire automatic weapons are as much a part of the Spawn Character as any. As a matter of fact of all the Spawn Figures I had as a child I think only Medieval Spawn lacked a machine gun lol.

That certainly clears up any future issue with bonding.

But sadly I think that qualifies more as a race than a class.

I preferred soldier to any of the options. But I agree that Spawn is not the Bonding type. So General works best in that light.

However, while a bit of a stretch, I could see Hellspawn working for Spawn's class ... if we were to look at it more as a classification of demon that distinguishes him from other types of demons that may appear in the C3G universe. But unless there was a significant wave of support for the idea of making him a Hellspawn for class we'll probably just stick w/ General ...

Any thoughts on tweaking the name for Heavy Machine Gun SA to make it less reusable? Something like, I dunno, "Enormous Machine Gun SA"?

Haha ... well I haven't exactly thought of anything better than "Big Gun SA" so ... I'm still trying to peruse the archives of my mind for something more interesting and thematic. Here's some inspiration ...

Hellspawn or General.

As of right now I'm slightly leaning toward Hellspawn but plan to leave it as General unless there's a majority in favor of Hellspawn.

Well my vote is still for Hellspawn I know it's technically what he is not what he does, but I think it would work. Plus I could see a general bonding power at some point in the future. I think the chances of a Hellspawn bonding power ever vein created is far less likely.

As of right now I feel inclined to agree w/ you Raptor ...

... of course I'm going to wait to hear some rebuttals but I too see less bonding power potential for a Hellspawn than I do for a General.

I like Warrior for his class. Throughout the cartoon they keep referring to him as a warrior in the narration.

I vote for Hellspawn. From what I remember of Spawn, he was to be the general leading the minions of hell, but I don't really remember him doing a whole lot of leading. In fact, I remember him working almost always alone. I would think that a general should lead an army and that this class may one day hold bonding issues that might prove to be unthematic for Spawn.
