Both teams move to the center. An Elite League Assassin bases Violet, rolls two skulls. She rolls four. Takes out Violet in one hit. Round two, Masahiro declares Mr. Incredible to be his target. The ELAs base Mr. Incredible, but don’t land any wounds. Leopardon uses Arc Strike to hit Mr. Incredible for 2. Dash tries to hit an ELA who poofs into the shadows. Two of the League Assassins base Mr. Incredible, and land two wounds on him. Another LA hits Dash for one. Mr. Incredible destroys an ELA. An ELA destroys Mr. Incredible after rolling 3 skulls, doubling it to six. Leopardon uses his once-per-game special and rolls 3 skulls to deal 3 wounds to Dash. Incredibly lucky turn. Elastigirl destroys an ELA. New round, we win initiative. ELA and Leopardon try to hit Elastigirl, neither succeeds. Jak-Jak rolls a 14 and takes out two League Assassins. The remaining two destroy Jak-Jack, and one of them upgrades to an ELA. Elastigirl destroys the last LA in an attack. Both ELAs attack her and land no wounds, Leopardon hits for two. Elastigirl hits ELA, destroying it. ELA tries to hit Elastigirl, no luck, Leopardon lands two wounds. Elastigirl tries to crack back, but Leopardon destroys her in the next hit.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Assassins. One ELA remains. Masahiro Arashi survives with no wounds. Leopardon survives with no wounds.

Units: Masahiro, 4x League Assassin, Elite Assassin, Ra’s Al Ghul 260, 2x Skrull Infiltrator (800) vs JSA (800 - Wildcat, Black Canary, Powergirl)

Both teams come to the center. Power Girl destroys an ELA, and two LEAs destroy Black Canary. Masahiro tries to land a wound on Power Girl and fails. Wildcat moves closer to the ELAs. The two ELAs adjacent to Power Girl roll very hot, and destroy Power Girl. New round, an ELA lands 8 wounds on Wildcat in a single attack after naming Wildcat the target with Masahiro. The other one gets in for one.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Ninjas again. One ELA destroyed. No other wounds.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think these are fine on their own. I am concerned about Masahiro’s power in conjunction with these guys, but think this may be a Masahiro issue, since Masahiro seemed deadlier with the ELAs and these guys mainly served as pawns to get the ELAs back.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Pretty flavorful. Without Masahira they seem fine. I like that four of them are basically a “faux-squad”. If the Masahira synergy continues, it does seem kind of dangerous to put Masahira in Bael, add an extra die to all of the ELA attack rolls, get to reroll dice that aren’t skulls, then use the regular LA’s to resurrect dead LEAs

So Alexandros is going to hook me up with another set of tests here, since the Masahiro/Elite League Assassin combo tainted the previous two due to a misinterpretation of the text that led to the ELA getting an attack boost from Ruthless Command.

Hoping the combo isn't quite so nasty without that.

Rematch! Both teams move towards the center. The Incredibles try to take out Masahiro (once again in the Leopardon) pretty early and are able to do so while only losing Dash and getting three wounds on Mr. Incredible due to fairly hot rolls. ELAs and LAs try to clean up Violet and Mr. Incredible but aren't able to do so quite fast enough. Mr. Incredible, Elasti-Girl and Jack-Jack take the win.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Incredibles. Mr. Incredible has three wounds, Elasti-Girl has two, Jack-Jack has zero.

Another rematch. Both teams come to the center. Power Girl destroys an ELA early like last time. Masahiro helps the LA's attack her, and they're able to land five wounds on her by the end of round one. Wildcat destroys an ELA in between. We lose an LA to Masahiro, but in round two the remaining three are able to take Power Girl down and bring an ELA back, bringing us back up to two. The two ELAs are able to take down Wildcat, and Black Cat lands two wounds on Masahiro before she is destroyed.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): One ELA destroyed. One LA destroyed. Two wounds on Masahiro.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Seems fine. I wish I'd drafted more, but they hardly seemed obscene- they lost to an army I'm fairly confident in and dismantled an army I'm not super confident in.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: They seemed pretty ninja-y to me. I could see myself playing them again, despite the fact that I'm not super invested in their supporting cast, which to me is indicative of a strong design.
