Storage?
I'm rather new to Hero Scape but I have managed to purchase both master sets, the marvel set, and along the way I'm starting to pick up the add-on kits.
At the moment, we have just managed to toss everything in a room. However, this is aggravating when you are looking for certain pieces. So I'm curious what you all use to store everything, and the more mobile the better. The Beginning is the End is the Beginning. |

I have:
2 of every common, 1 of every hero in a 15 qt container. 2 castles in their original boxes Road, trees (2x RTFF), ruins and breakable wall and some small tiles in another 15qt container. The terrain content of (I think) 4 RoTV, 1 Marvel, and 4 SoTM sets in an 18 gallon tote. I plan to put the figures by unit in to snack-sized ziploc bags in the container. |

It depends how much you plan on acquiring if you just get enough for what you have now... you will eventually run out.
I have 500 figures, plus or minus... 2 rotv, 1 sotm, and a bunch of misc tiles from about 12 more master sets (I didnt keep the big 24 tiles to the other sets cuz they dont fit) 1 and a half castles and 3 full roads and 3 partial road sets. See avatar and this thread for mystorage case... It is HUGE and I dont even have any snow or lava in my storage case, so I dont even have it all in there. I just took count of whats in it so I will be updateing that thread soon. http://www.heroscapers.com/community...380&highlight= |

I actually have all my 'scape fairly organized using Sterilite drawers found at Target or Wal-Mart. I have 2 of them of various sizes, and a cardboard box that used to hold glasses, and all together it holds.
4 ROTV 3 SOTM 4 VW 2 TT 2RTTFF 2FOTA 1 Of every unique booster 3 of every common |

I have a rubbermaid drawer set similar to half of what you see in draconious' avatar. It easily holds 2 ROTVs, 1 SOTM, 1 fortress, 1 forest, 1 tundra, and all my squads, plus large figures from the two large hero sets. It's got more room too. I highly recommend something like this. It's not that heavy, and you could easily take it somewhere if you have an open back seat or a pickup.

Since I have to transport mine whenever I want to play, I have gradually shuffled boxes around until I found a couple of large/flat ones (VCRs ) that I can carry easily and that open upward so everything inside is visible and I can get at what I need. My figures live in two MS boxes and I have relegated the extra terrain to other boxes that I don't always bring with me. The quest for the perfect system is ongoing.

There are several threads on this topic already ....the site probably does not need another.
