Can you use Swift Avenger on Moon Knight after he uses Audacious Avenger?

I've played it as yes, but I'm not entirely sure. "From an attack" being the tricky part.

I'd rule that if it's an attack that inflicted the wounds, yes, but if it was a non-attack like auto-wounding/damage dice, no. That's how I've played it and it can be a solid combo, but would be limited to the Avengers or Mutants to use, outside of recruitment, which takes more points on top of their 420 combo to begin with. Still vulnerable to non-attacks in that case. So wound Moon Knight first, then try to take him out with a non-attack thus avoiding Swift Avenger from saving him. Then Quicksilver is fair game.

Have we ever ruled that qhen a power says “take those wounds” it really means “take an identical amount of wounds that are inflicted by this ability instead of the original source?” It seems like a smart thing to do, but I don’t know if we’ve ever bit the bullet.

When a card tells you to do X but then wants you to pretend that Thing Y is what’s telling you to do X, that’s where stuff starts to get messy.
