Everyone -- The event organizer for Cool Stuff is out of town until Thursday, so no update there. However, I have concluded that we will play in the Orlando area, whether it be Cool Stuff or another store. If Cool Stuff can't confirm by Friday, I'll confirm with Sci-Fi or Coliseum.

Hey Everyone,

A couple quick things. The prize support listed on the first entry... is it a Rise of the Valkyrie Master Set or is it a Fortress of the Archkyrie Castle Set?

Also, it looks like it'll just be me. I have 2 maybes but I'm not sure if their schedules will permit them attending.

With regard to maps, how many do we need of each one? If we're going for 3 of each, I can bring 1 Steaming Bridge and 1 Cloak and Dagger.

Location Update: I called several stores today, here is there responses:
Cool Stuff Maitland -- No (busy with other tournaments)
Cool Stuff Jacksonville -- Yes (lots of space)
Cool Stuff Winter Park -- No (technically, no answer and bad hours)
Sci-Fi City Orlando -- No (next Saturday is a big gaming day for them)
Coliseum of Comics Kissimmee -- Maybe (have lots of space, but several events going on)
Coliseum of Comics Fashion Square Mall -- Maybe (Have room for 32, but at least 16 taken up by Warhammer; Aaron works there, right Novelist432? I sent him an e-mail as well)
Coliseum of Comics Millenia -- Yes (although they only have two longs tables, they have nothing going on)
Coliseum of Comics Lakeland -- No (event manager out of town next week)
Coliseum of Comics Seminole -- No (did not call, but too small)

Sooooo . . . right now, the default is Coliseum of Comics Millenia, unless those Orlandonians/Orlandoites can find a way to get to Jacksonville and want to play at Cool Stuff. However, if Kissimmee or the Fashion Square Mall say definite yes, we'll go there since they should have more room.

Can anyone who has been to these stores confirm their sizes?

I think we'll just need 8 maps, but it wouldn't hurt to have a couple extra ready; here's what I have:

@Smithy: if you have to leave early, that is OK, but then I think you shouldn't bring a map since we need them there the whole time.

Coliseum of Comics opens at 10am, so Round 1 start time would be ~11am-11:15am. (If we go to another store, times may change.) We'll play 5 rounds, followed by a Finals Round. There will be a lunch break after 2 or 3 rounds.

Yeah, Aaron works there. He is the owner. They have a ton of extra tables and the mall lets Coliseum set them up right outside the store for big events (if we need it) so there is definitely room.

OK, Aaron (the owner) said YES at the Coliseum of Comics -- Fashion Square Mall location. They have at least four 8-foot table available for us, and can set up more if needed. That sounds like the best place, and I say we should go there, unless there are any objections.

Anyone who said they might be bringing friends, please let me know how many you will have. Everyone try to get there before 11am for check-in; first round starts ~11:15am.

I was recently reminded of an event that was scheduled about a month and a half ago, for the 9th. While I'll try to think of a way to make it, it seems incredibly unlikely that I will. I apologize for any and all chaos this may cause.
