Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
NAME = RED WOLF
SECRET IDENTITY = SPECIES = HUMAN UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = LAWMAN PERSONALITY = RESOLUTE SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 4 MOVE = 5 RANGE = 6 ATTACK = 3 DEFENSE = 4 POINTS = 130 BACKCOUNTRY TRACKER Red Wolf may double his height when climbing or falling. When moving normally, Red Wolf may add 2 to his Move number. If he does, he cannot attack this turn. AMBUSH 4 Before moving with Red Wolf, you may choose a non-adjacent enemy figure that either does not have clear sight to Red Wolf, or whose base is at least 4 levels below Red Wolf's base. When Red Wolf attacks the chosen figure with an adjacent normal attack this turn, add an automatic skull to whatever is rolled. TIMELY AVENGER When a Unique Hero you control is destroyed, you may move one unrevealed Order Marker from any card in your army to this card. For the rest of the round, when Red Wolf attacks, he may attack one additional time. Last edited by Ronin; September 4th, 2020 at 04:45 PM. |

Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
Okay, last design before digging into Venom stuff (with a side of Lanterns as I can manage them).
Light/streamlined design, and the only other person I know to be a fan of the character (johnny) is into it, so I'm pretty happy with the direction here. Open to thoughts, though. |

Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
Looks pretty good. Does the Ambush power really need the number here? It's not in reference to a d20 number and if someone ever reuses it I can't imagine why they would need to change the height they can drop down on someone from.

Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
I think the number in the title makes it a little quicker/easier to reference, so I like that about it. You're right that it probably doesn't need to be particularly configurable.

Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
Ambush definitely doesn't need a number, but I'm always in favor of adding numbers when we can.
Happy with him as-is. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
I could go either way on the number. I like the aesthetic of not having it, but I do get the appeal of having it in there.

Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
It's such a short power name that I do like the number in there aesthetically.

Re: The Book of Red Wolf (1872) (Design)
It actually seems like a very... specific power mechanically with a very general name. Could we give it an adjective?
