Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Solovar
He's a great piece to run with Gorilla City Warriors, but they essentially set his ceiling as well.
4/B C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Solovar
Great with the GCW for sure. Can feel bad paying 260 for what he brings, but sometimes Negotiation really screws up your opponent if you can get Solovar into a key piece. The +1 move/defense feels really good on the GCW too.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Solovar
Best thing the GCW do is swarm and get big attacks in groups, so keeping them alive can be the biggest key. Solovar + Detective Chimp can often get them +2 defense from the start zone, so they're nice additions to a GCW core.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Solovar
I forgot Detective Chimp can boost defense as well. +2 defense is really nice for sure.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Solovar
Sure. Takes a bit more luck for him, but they all play together nicely.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Black Adam
Black Adam is fairly average. Strong stats and the autowound potential from Lightning Strike is nice. Courage of Mehen gives him a nice resistance to many annoying special powers. He’s a solid inclusion to Injustice League builds, but he’s also fairly expensive for what he offers.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Black Adam
I often struggle to get much out of his powers other than maybe the passive healing. Luckily his stats are strong enough that it typically doesn't matter.
He fits in nicely with Injustice stuff if they need a discount heavy hitter. 4/B C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Black Adam
Yeah I like him as a raw stat-block with a fun d20 power. Mehen can be really nice sometimes too.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Black Adam
He's decent, but not exceptionally so. Mainly a beat stick with subtle powers that can come into play if you roll well or in the right circumstances, but nothing that's going to majorly shift the battle. 3/B-

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Black Adam
Been a LONG time since I've played him. For some reason his and Capt Marvel's powers just never stick in my head. I have to triple read their cards a million times while running them, so I think that's part of the reason I haven't played him in so long.
Might be the thematic power names, and also not having read much of their books. |
