And don't forget Flash and Green Arrow as well...
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

It looks like having an X-Men vs. Brotherhood (Mutant on Mutant crime) or a Flash vs. Flash Villains mini scenario is what will work best for us. We can design a 3 part story with myself, Tablewalker, and Johnny all creating/LDing one map. Their are a lot of Mutants in C3G so that one could actually feature quite a few different figures from map to map as each team drops some members and adds in new ones. For the Flash vs. idea, we could start the Flash team small and just add different allies as he goes along while the villains could change on each map. Both have a lot of potential. You guys all okay with running a public poll in the promotions thread then and letting the public decide which one we will do?

I think with the Flash and Arrow show being pretty popular right now that could get some public attention. I know there are a lot of partial mutant campaigns that have been discussed and I myself have a couple. Something is obviously being worked on for Avengers vs Ultron so I think it would be nice to have a DC Campaign. I have wanted to start a Flash Campaign myself for a while but I have yet so I'd definitely be excited for that one.

By the way is this thread public? Sorry I don't remember what is public and what isn't anymore...

Yeah, this is a public thread. I just don't think all that many members of the public subscribe to it and follow along what we are going over here in the map department so I'd want to run the poll somewhere out in the main C3G forum.

Another reason I'd push for the Flash version is that Mutants seem to get used a lot but some of the Rogues and such don't. Part of the reason I like Campaigns is it forces you to use forgotten figures. I think the Campaigns can help breath some fresh air through here and knock the dust off some of the great work that has been done. Everything seems to go from Competitive match up discussions to whatever is newly released...not that there is anything wrong there but the great thing about C3G for me is the flexibility of play.

Also if I am going to be completely honest I should point out...I'm also just waiting for my Public LD of the MRD troopers to come through so I can finish off an X-men Campaign.

I'd be okay with a public poll to decide which campaign we do. And your idea of three of us each designing a map to go with it sounds good too.

Okay then, thanks for letting us know. We can go for just a two map, two part campaign then with me & Tablewalker LDing one each or if Toronto or Japes wants to take on the 3rd map/part of it I'm sure we can work out a way for them to use the public map design slot for that purpose. I think the public design portion of the map department has stalled out so this would be a good way to jump start it.

Toronto would be interested in that, if japes was willing to assist me.

The more I think about it, the more I like this approach to get started. We may be better prepared to tackle an extensive campaign after we knock out something more manageable.
