help with 500 point army

I'm a big fan of TKN+grubs for those who don't have multiple commons (aside from grubsx2 and stingersx2). It gives you a big hitter, a squad killer, and a melee screen, all in one. Pair with some solid range (and you've got plenty of options there) and you're good to go.

TKN + Grubsx2 is 280, leaving you 220 for other things. Options include:

120 Stingersx2
100 KMA
220 (hodge-podgey, but effective.)

50 Marro Warriors
160 SBN
210 (very range-poor, but death to a small/medium opponent on a flat map)

150 Major Q10
50 Marro Warriors
200 (h/t mccombju)

120 Stingersx2
80 Raelin
200

100 KMA
120 Raelin 2.0
220 (effective on maps where you can protect 'grubs with new Raelin).

If you can go 10 points over, Q10+Raelin makes tons of sense. ETA: so does Q9+Marro Warriors, or Raelin+KMA+Marro Warriors. Wow, things really open up at 510!

It will take a bit of strategy to be competitive with it, but if you want to play with four really fun units, try:

Raelin
Krav Maga
Q9 (I know this is not so original so far, but wait for the last recommendation)

Actually, one of Ne-Gok-Sa's strength is that he draws fire from your opponents. If he is out front, then the simple fear of losing a character will make them spend time attacking him. While they are busy going after him, you can be attacking with the Krav or Q9. Getting your opponent to waist more order markers on one of your guys than you are putting on him gives you a tactical advantage.

You next post in this thread isn't a thank you for us helping you...instead you make another demand. That is not how things work around here or anywhere else. Get a better attitude around here and you might earn some respect on the boards and get a green card rather than that red one you have right now.

As stated earlier, you need to do a search for these things rather than simply posting a random question in an unrelated thread. If you would have even looked in the News section you would have seen multiple threads about Wave 1 being rereleased.


All in all, using a little bit of common sense on these boards will prevent responses like this in the future.

Sport's is pretty good. My second suggestion would be to use that army except put in Su-Bak-Na instead of Tor Kul Na, and maybe add a Nagrub too.

It's fun to use Hive, nagrubs, and SBN. hive activates nagrubs, which activate SBN.

Sorry, doesn't work-Hive only activates Marro; Nagrubs are Nagrubs.
