Proxy Idea for Knights of Weston - What do you think?

HI

As you all know, Knights of Weston are incredibly rare and expensive to obtain. Do you think these guys would fill in well for them if I were to use them as proxies?

I think they look similar enough, but I'm not sure about scale/size. Does anybody have any experience using figures similar to these from Reaper as proxies....?

Looks kinda cheesy but closest in size and cheapest is Safari KNIGHTS, and comes with Wyrmling proxies.

I guess I should also ask: how tall are Knights of Weston in real life? Those Reapers minis are 25 mm. If the real life KoW are 35 mm, it will probably be a good proxy lol

I’ve actually got those safari knights and real knights. The safari ones are considerably bigger than HS knights, but I won’t knock them as a decent proxy option.

Edit: Reaper minis are usually a touch shorter than HS minis, but are often good enough. They can be fairly expensive comparitively, however.

Understood, but in this case, definitely not. I can buy a set of 4 reaper knights for 12 bucks. A set of KoW is trending around $30-$35 on Ebay. Yikes!

Can someone....pretty please....measure a KoW squad for me? If you're fortunate enough to possess it

You could always get 3D printed proxies. I have two different sculpts of the KoW's (not all four), and I have stickers for the shields.

The picture below are my set of proxies I made a few years ago. Now that I'm more familiar with my printer I can probably get prints that are a little better quality. I printed in white and then painted them. But printing with silver filament would avoid all the painting time.

The general going price of KoW on here is generally around $15-17. I normally sell them for $14. I'd be patient and check this site instead of paying almost as much for proxies.
